[Suggestion] Give Companions 90% Damage reduction to AoE unless the main target

Since we can't really control how they respond, it'd be really nice if they had a near-total damage reduction to AOE. That is unless they are the main target.

I'm tired of my Companion dying because they just 'stood in fire' until dead.

FF14 and WoW both do this because they acknowledge the AI is potato-brained.

Note: I'm considering Companions as a "Game System".
You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.

    While they're at it, maybe some kind of "max distance from player" setting too so they stay with you instead of being way out in the middle of nowhere, and taking the adds with them out of your aoes. Not giving them ranged weapons only helps a little.

    Isobel having an two-handed sword is precisely why she dies about fifty bajillion times a play session. - So glad I'm a Templar with Honor the Dead heal...I'd be OOM every 'big fight' just trying to keep her alive while she stands in Bad.

    Tried range, and they still just stand in aoe that's meant to be avoided (aka near insta-kill AoE).
