Why do Iron Atronach Spider only have 6 Legs

Isn't the Thing of an Arachnida to have 8?

    Dwemer spiders have only 6 legs as well.
    May be that there is no necessity of actual 8 legs for artificial spiders.

    Because Prime Sorcerer Vandorallen, who is responsible for their creation, is not a fan of Mephala, hence his "joke" creation.
