The game resets to Fullscreen every time I start it

I have multiple screens so I like to have it on windowed full, but every day it goes back to Full Fullscreen, why is that?
Is there any way to stop it from doing that?

Does something interfere with your savedvariables folder?

I have two monitors and use fullscreen windowed mode as well, and don't encounter your issue.

Disable optimizing in your GPU app.
I had my Nvidia optimize my game and Nvidia‘s settings kept overwriting game settings.

The same thing happened to me for 2 days then just stopped. I never did figure out what caused or fixed it.

I only use one monitor.
