Will Console Add-ons be available for the Steam Deck
Hello,
With the recent announcement of Console Players now getting Add-ons will that be something coming to the Steam Deck. Since the Steam Deck acts more like a Handheld console with it's UI more so than a PC, plus with how hard it is for Add-on Loaders like Minion to be used with the Steam Deck it has me a bit perplexed as to whether or not we will see Console Add-ons come to the Steam Deck. I think it would be nice but would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Baertram✭✭✭✭✭As long as a SteamDeck does not use the console UI (and afaik it is not -> it uses the PC UI?) you'll be using the normal PC addons for it.
The console UI can be simulated on the PC too, but it's not the whole same.
There exists a Minion for Linux/Unix afaik, and thatshould be usable on the SteamDeck too:

ok noted, but it still doesn't help out since all the YouTube videos don't help those of us who are not tech savvy enough to got through, and find the files. I've got the game on a Micro SD Card, and can't seem to find the file that is needed to store the add-on files.Edited by Tahlavos17 on May 10, 2025 8:34PM0 -
Baertram✭✭✭✭✭Try to search directly for what you want to achieve via a websearch and it should show you threads are redit where ppl describe how to install the addons on a steamdeck.
