Is Morkuldon a good set to pair with anything? Also the uh steel tornado skill? That good too?

Was wanting to do a fully rp build that's like a psychic ninja and thought conjured weapons would look cool. Morkuldon does have a cool animation. As for steel tornado that just looks more ninja than whirlling blades but I also like doing dungeons sometimes and don't want to gimp myself.

Morkuldon isn’t great but it’s probably not so bad that you can’t use it for an rp build. Whirling blades will be better than steel tornado, especially if the adds get grouped, but I don’t play pug dungeons enough as not the tank so if most tanks don’t pull enemies in could make the argument for steel tornado I guess.

Ty. I've been trying steel tornado in open world for the hell of it and certainly been feeling it compared to whirling blades so I might just keep whirling. Was going to try Morkuldon later. A few other folk told me that as well.

Both the skill and the set are great. Try stuff out and see what else you want to combo with it. Sounds like the base for a fun setup.

Morkuldin is a good set the 2-4 piece is really good the 5 piece while underwhelming is really cool I used to run it to flex on people in the under lv 50 pvp server when the set released knowing nine traits to craft the set wasn't common back then had a cool stam templar and stam sorc build that it worked on.

I also play on PC from time to time but I just wanna be left alone on there so sorry.

Its a poor man's version of Aegis Caller with weaker buffs, less damage, and a slightly longer cooldown. Stamina/Magicka recovery on a set is almost useless these days

You might also like Traveling Knife from Scribing (free for everyone in June, until then only for Gold Road owners). You do a spin and throw a knife that can be imbued with many types of damage and effects.

The only downside to Steel Tornado/Whirlwind is the cost, because it's cost-budgeted as an AoE skill. Until enemies are in execute, it's worth to have a single-target skill that's cheaper and deals more damage. You might like Imbue Weapon from the Psijic skill line, where you imbue your weapons for magic on their next light attack. But it does require you to get used to the flow of weaving light attacks in each second before your skill, which takes a practice. But it's shiny.
