I think if we were to see the old stuff simply updated to higher resolution (simply in concept, not necessary execution), that folks for the MOST part would be cool witih it.
I'd love to see the old motifs/textures for characters updated. Right now, I only choose newer stuff to put on my characters becasue some of the old stuff just looks too dated and I have yet to find an example that outshines a newer higher resolution set.
Will we see it? Hopefully so, but probably not.
