Serpents Disdain set

If I run serpents disdain back bar and have a 20 second status effect active then swap front bar and proc that same status effect the new status effect is applied with only 4 second duration. It seems like a lower duration status shouldn't overwrite my longer status duration.

Seems fair to me. If you can't avoid overriding your status on a regular basis your uptime is probably good enough to not worry about that status proc. If you are overriding multiple ones, you should really check if this set is even worth running on your setup. The 20 seconds look juicy on a target, but if your status proc rate is too low or too high this set can easily lose you value.

But this is your choice for using it as backbar-only set. You get what you pay for in this case.

thats how all effects in the game works, if you reapply effects, it "removes" and "applies" the effect again
