$135 Australian AUD to buy PREMIUM "Content Pass"

I almost bought the content pass but last second realised subclassing and vault was part of the free update & I'm still doing/up to the Northern Elsweyr content anyway so I'm just going to wait until the 2025 CP goes on sale.

If they have new exclusive sets/mythic as part of the 2025 CP - well I'm doing fine with what I have (soloing stuff) and it eventually gets nerfed anyway.

I know our currency is literally going backwards BUT HOLY MOLY! REALLY?! That's freaking expensive.

What about ESO+? What does this give or what will it give? Did you guys just forget about ESO+?

Which means for me it will be slightly more expensive, living in New Zealand. Probably add another $10, so closer to $150.

Premium Content Pass should give you permanent access to all chapters & DLCs -- why are chapters and DLCs separate to begin with??

It should also discount you some based on what you already OWN.

This is the only way I'd even consider buying the content pass.

WHY do we NOT have cross platform servers in 2025?

The premium content pass doesn't give additional new content compared to the standard one. It's the exact same as the Collection edition that they've been releasing each year for the past 5+ years, which is essentially a big discount on older content.

I think their choice to call it a "Season Pass" has confused a lot of players who make assumptions about that based on other games that sell season passes. Whereas in practice, very little has changed compared to Chapters.

Really good explanation. I did not realise it was simply a rename.

Yeah it really sucks. Probably going to lose a lot of AU/NZ players because of the pricing.

Not really a fan of this pricing ZOS. This model is predatory.

They’re not here just to play games with players, they're here to make money.

"...As of April 2024, ZeniMax Online and Bethesda confirmed that The Elder Scrolls Online has generated over $2 billion in lifetime revenue..."

    - Total lifetime revenue (since 2014) ~$2 billion
    - Average monthly revenue ~$15 million
    - Average annual revenue ~$180–200 million/year

On a side note: I immediately pre-ordered on console only because I wanted the Portal Recall, but do you know what happened couple of days ago, still before console launch? The preorder price received a "discount with GamePass". Awesome...

Nah, too incompetant to be predatory.

More like a morbidly obese tiger that has been kept in a zoo it's entire life getting badly out of breath while chasing a rolling wheel of cheese.

Yeah, for a game this old and with so many recycled assets, it's hard to find value in this. I can buy it—so can many—but the pricing seems so wrong—it's like buying fool's gold for the same price as the real one. and yeah i know all MMOs are like this etc etc, but they ironically offered more stuff for the same price, The negative reviews solidify my concern
