ESO+ is 29 days, not a month. What's going on?

A couple days ago I decided to sub to ESO+ after years of not subbing. After paying for the sub I noticed that I was given only 29 days of ESO+, not a month. 29 days is a day or two short of a month. This was 29 days immediately after making the payment, not as of today by the way.

What's going on here?

I noticed this too when activating ESO+ for the event.

ZOS needs to explain what's going on here.

Are you sure it is actually 29 days and not 30 days? My suspicion is that it’s 30 days but it says 29 because time didn’t stop after you bought it, making it more like 29.99 days, which visually gets counted as 29.

One month in this case is 29 days + 24 hours, but you don't see the hours portion in the count-down description.
They truncate the description to the days portion.
But the hours portion is still there and counting-down..

It's also like that with everything that has a count-down in-game, and always has been.

      This is correct.

On day 29 you will see you have 1 days left. On day 30 as they count down your last 24 hours it will read you have less than 1 day left.
