I had issues activating and deactivating addons since the most recent patch. Only time they would activate or deactivate was if i did it from character select screen, but relogging or reloading UI reset my character to the same settings as it had before most recent patch.

My issues where identical to an old issue someone had in 2021:

I am just making a post here for ppl that might experience the same issue and want a possible sollutions for it. As stated in the old post from 2021, making exceptions in your anti-virus for the game install folder and the elderscrolls folder in documents fix this issue. As the image below:


The issue seems to be game related and not addon related and i have sent a ticket about it.
