Why people don't use guild member or friend for daily farming?
After the "grouping tool" released, people usually try to gather daily gear farming group (like nirn farm) by GT though...
But, there're not much people, especially real tank, who are willing to join for the old dungeon.
From recent my experience, most of guild member is far more reliable than random team.
(big damage, decent healer, and NO FAKE TANK)
Honestly say, if you're not experienced tank, then GT is same situation like the random matching tool.
It's a time wasting.

✭✭✭✭✭I don't farm but if I did I wouldn't expect my friends to join me. I don't want anyone to feel obligated to do something they may not be in the mood for just because we are friends, and some would. I'd rather use the group finder to find others that have the same goal.PCNA6 -

Grinding just make you go in circles.

CalamityCat✭✭✭✭If my guild has just done a trial, it's fairly normal for some of us to go run vet pledges together. Friends know I've got a healer so I'll get invited randomly, so some of us do regularly do dungeons with friends and guilds.
But players aren't always available when I want my 'dream team' for some pledges, and I wouldn't want to be constantly just playing with the same small group of players.
I think guild/friends are great for grouping if you're really fussy about what sort of player you want to play with. But I fully accept what might happen with randoms, so I play with them all the time. I'll do vet pledges with randoms too. My RL partner on the other hand has had terrible luck and does prefer guild only groups for dungeons.0 -

Playing grouped with group tool is not less playing with people than people than playing in the bubble of your friends and guilds excluding outsiders.

Most players use guild members or friends for daily farming. But why should players look for players wanting to farm with them in the limited numbers of their friendlist and guilds asking every friend/guild one by one maybe wasting the time of players not wanting to farm (other than to help you) excluding everyone else when you can look for players in the whole playerbase? And what should players do if they dont have friends helping them?
Friends and guildmates in familiar/elite guild maybe more reliable bit mates from open beginner guilds not necessarily.PC EU0
