Subclassing - Skills on either bar. The new Oaken soul.

I foresee new Oaken soul variants but allowing bar swap and usage of another mythic besides Oaken soul.
These are all skill you can hang on your backbar if you subclass them.
NB:
- Shadow cloak/shadowy Disguise - Major Prophecy/Savagery on both bars while slotted on either bar
- Dark Cloak - Minor protection while slotted on either bar
- Grim Focus/morphs - gains stacks and grants weapon/spell damage per stack while slotted on either bar
- Concealed weapon - grants minor expedition while slotted on either bar
- Soul Harvest - gain 10 ultimate whenever you kill an enemy while slotted on either bar
- Siphoning strikes/morphs - heals you for X health whenever you deal damage while slotted on either bar (siphoning attacks morph also restores mag/stam whenever this passive heal on damage applies).
DK:
- Inferno/morphs - Major prophecy/savagery while slotted on either bar
- Molten Whip - Stacks count from either bar
Arcanist:
- Tome-Bearers Inspiration - Major Sorcery/Brutality while slotted on either bar
Sorc:
- Bound armor/morphs - +8% Max mag or stamina while slotted on either bar, aegis also gives minor resolve and minor protection while slotted on either bar.
If your main class happens to be one of those above, then you get to pick 2 more from the others....

If I'm playing DPS, will definitely pick Tome-Bearer's Inspiration.
If I'm playing as Tank, Dark Cloak and Bound Aegis are must, will keep Draconic Power skill line for Coagulating Blood burst heals.
If I'm playing as Healer, will keep Earthern Heart skill line and paired with Basalt Blood Set. Swap out for Templar healing line and Warden Green Balance line.
Excited and nervous at the same time. Pros and cons of subclassing are overwhelming, hopefully ZOS pulls this off smoothly.3 -

Nah, the way forward for a DK tank is going to be subbing out Ardent Flame for Soldier of Apocrypha and swapping your vigor for Runeguard of Freedom and your frontbar ult to Gibbering Shelter.
Runeguard plus the passives on Soldier of Apocrypha bring you crazy value. Minor Resolve, Minor Protection, Minor Evasion, and 1980 armour whilst active plus the precast emergency self heal.
It's never been more over for Oakensoul due to being able to bring in extra class passives that are more useful for what you want to do.2 -

As far as we know the only difference is that you have to pay 2 skill points (oh no!). It fully replaces one of your skill lines including passives.Leeching Strikes + Critical Surge

Seems like a lot of work vs. wearing Pale Order and not as much synergy as you'd want since you're already getting brutality/sorcery from Scholarship.
Start with a standard solo Stamcanist beamer, swap in Ardent Flame for backbar Flames of Oblivion, Noxious Breath as your new breach which charges up a backbar Molten Whip, and Assassination for Hemorrhage. Congratulations now you have Major & Minor Savagery, 10% more critical damage, up to 300 more weapon/spell damage, and the enemy has an extra DoT.1 -

Which is why you wear Pale Order.
Then all those boosts to damage are also boosts to survival, especially on Arc because pragmatic immediately brings up the damage shield for you to heal behind.0 -

✭✭I’ve actually thought about this. If I wanted to optimize a one bar build without Oakensoul, I would definitely go to Nightblade for the assasination skill line. This gives you grim focus and concealed weapon for the back bar as well as a strong ultimate and execute and also great passives. Then it’s a choice between Daedric summoning for bound aegis back bar, or siphoning for the back bar passive sustain. I think Daedric wins here.
My front bar skill line would probably be Jabs or Arcanist beam. But any strong spammable would work.0 -

Yeah, the bar has to be valid to swap to in order for either-bar effects to apply, and Oakensoul prevents that.
