    The premium one is like buying the current collection with base game and all chapters and includes the season pass too. I guess similar to buying gold road collection now

    Exactly, it includes everything in ESO to date plus the all the new content coming this year. I'm watching the after show and they've explained it all.

    It appears that the "Premium Content Pass" would include:

    ALL of the stuff from this year, including the dungeons and the new-content areas

    Gold Road (West Weald), but NOT the dungeon pack of 2024
    Necrom (Telvanni Peninsula + Apocrypha), but NOT the dungeon pack of 2023
    High Isle, but NOT Firesong (Galen) or the two dungeon packs of 2022
    Blackwood, but NOT Deadlands or the two dungeon packs of 2021
    Greymoor (W. Skyrim and Blackreach), but NOT Markarth (The Reach) or the two dungeon packs of 2020
    Elsweyr (North Elsweyr), but NOT Dragonhold (South Elsweyr) or the two dungeon packs of 2019
    Summerset, but NOT Murkmire or the dungeon packs of 2018
    Morrowind, but NOT Clockwork City or the dungeon packs of 2017.

    NOT Orsinium, Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood, or Imperial City (though the latter is now available for free).

    But it DOES include the Necromancer, Warden and Arcanist classes, and Infinite Archive.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Whereas the non-Premium "Content Pass" would include:
    ALL of the stuff from this year, including the dungeons and the new-content areas
    Morrowind, if you don't have it already.
    Base game, if you don't have it already.
    NOT including the premium classes.
    I think Infinite Archive is still permanent content, although Apocrypha itself is not, so someone without Necrom chapter would have to reach it by teleporting to someone who does?
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I honestly think it's time for them to make a paid bundle that does include all the smaller DLCs that have not been previously included - as well as all the full sized Chapters. To wit: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Clockwork City, Murkmire, Dragonhold, Markarth, Deadlands, Firesong.

To wit: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Clockwork City, Murkmire, Dragonhold, Markarth, Deadlands, Firesong.

    I would rather them increase it another 5-10% just to clear/clean up the insanely long list of details as to what is or is not included. Something written like this would be less overwhelming and repulsive to prospective new players:

    1) Base Game Bundle
    (Unlocks base game for your account)

    2) Past DLC Upgrade
    (Unlock all DLC content for your account, excluding current Season Pass content)
    (Current and future Season Pass content will retroactively be unlocked for your account once the season ends)

    3) Season Pass
    (Unlock current Season Pass DLC content for your account)

    4) ESO Plus Membership
    (Craft Bag, Exp Boost, Crown Deals, etc)

    Instead of punishing players who are unable to pay for the season pass one year, you could potentially keep them engaged with the game by allowing them to experience the season pass content one year later. If the player leaves because they cannot afford season pass one year, they may never come back and buy from you, but if you incentivize the player to stick around to experience the same content a year later, then maybe a year later they'll be able to afford the next season pass, so you'll end up making more money.

    ESO just got WAY more expensive.

    I'm going to make due with what I've already got. If they take away access to anything I already have, which is everything so far, I'm going to request a refund. But I won't be buying anything new going forward. It's looking like a really bad investment at this point.

    I don't think so. In the past, you could buy the deluxe edition of the annual chapter, which included all the previous chapters. It didn't matter if you already owned some of those chapters. When you applied it to your account, it would just unlock the ones you didn't already own.

    It should be MUCH cheaper if you already OWN said DLCs/chapters whatever.

    Point still stands: $135 is insanity.

    The premium content pass is JUST the season pass and all the other chapters. If you have other chapters, then don't buy the premium pass and just buy the regular one.

    I'm going to give this years content a wide berth. Even the base content pass is 85 AUD (92 NZD.)

    Frankly, that's too much.

    With costs for pretty much everything and cost-of-living expenses increasing rapidly, some things will have to go by the wayside and entertainment is one of the first to go.

    I'm thinking it might be discounted around the time of the writhing wall event. I might wait until then to buy (if I buy it at all). In my currency (CAD), the standard pass is $66, which is too expensive for what's included, especially since I already have access to the dungeons through ESO+.

    Yep I still have about 15 days left I think on my ESO+ I've cancelled it but still why would I purchase the Content Pass.. when we already have access to dungeons with ESO+?

    Makes zero sense.

    It's also way overpriced, I'm actually shocked that this would be the most expensive game purchase (if I were to buy the premium) that I would be making.. in my entire LIFE.

    If you do the math, the season pass is over 20 dollars cheaper than buying a new chapter, a story dlc, and 4 dungeons. It's actually a better deal than we were getting before-- unless you plan on having eso+ forever.

    Poor console players.. they have to have their PSN/Xbox fee, ESO+ fee.. + Content Pass fee -- they get shafted the most.

    Seems some people here have misunderstood the concept for new ESO content in 2025. There is no "Content Pass Premium" and "Content Pass Non-Premium".

    Two new products for 2025 are (currently?) being offered: "ESO 2025 Content Pass" and "ESO 2025 Premium Edition". Once you grasp that distinction the rest is pretty much clear.

    If you're a long-time ESO player and have either ESO+ or bought all the chapters and DLC, then the "ESO 2025 Content Pass" is all you need. If you're new to the game and want *own* as much content as possible, then go for the "ESO 2025 Premium Edition". Granted, the latter doesn't give you access to all the non-chapter content (which ZOS really should address).

    As it stands, the "ESO 2025 Content Pass" seems to include pretty much all that in previous years was sold as the "Deluxe Upgrade", but with the added bonus of also giving you the two DLC dungeon packs. No more "WTB 1500 crowns" in chat.

    Getting the DLC dungeons as part of the season pass is a bit of a blow to ESO+ subscribers having to pay for something they've already paid for. On the other hand, they've had access to the first of the new dungeon packs for quite a few weeks already. I wouldn't be surprised if at one point ESO+ no longer gives you access to *new* dungeon packs, and the subscription fee *may* even be lowered as a result of this. But this last bit is pure speculation.
