@ZOS_GinaBruno
I watched until the end of the stream and didn't hear anything about ESO+.
Did I miss something?
Yep. My concerns exactly.There were 4 releases a year and only 1 needed to be paid for separately for access; 3 were available for free with ESO+
Now we're being forced to buy dungeons whether we want them or not, as well as the second half of the zone which would've previously been another zone/release. The dungeons will still be free on ESO+ for people who don't buy the pass, and meanwhile those who bought it had to pay to own them just to get access to the rebranded chapter.
So what am I getting from ESO+ if I now have to buy all 4 releases instead of just 1?
Furnishing vault doesn't make up for effectively being asked to buy content I already pay to have access to.
I am also confused.. ESO+ isn't attractive anymore if they are making us buy these "content passes" and no the furniture vault doesn't entice me at all.I am confused ESO+ and this GamePass are separate and always or will be. So it does not become available as part of ESO+ in 2026?
Agreed. I'm not into housing, so effectively this does nothing for me. There should have been more. ESO+ subscribers are being hit with a significant price increase.

Even if you were into housing nothing was mentioned about updating the ludicrously obsolete furnishing limit, and the vast majority of people who take housing seriously have a bunch of "dedicate wharehouses" already to stock their furnishings, meaning it's gonna be a very minor QoL update. The crux, i.e. the furnishing limit, has not been mentioned and will probably remain the same till EoS.

It's that the content of the new area and dungeon packs are now bundled. The content pass is on the pricier side, especially as I don't care about the dungeons either way, but that's an issue with the bundling and not with ESO+.

You're absolutely right. If they hadn't included the dungeons in the content pass, nobody would be complaining.

Can you stack a thousand chairs in any of those? Plus 499 stacks of other items?

They have the data.
The fact that they hammered explicitly on the fact that 'you own this stuff' in the stream. And the whole dungeon pack thing that also got a mention and unleashed a whole storm online makes me feel like they acknowledge the players who like to buy stuff are a vast majority.
So it seems like the strategy is now: content = buying and services = ESO+
In a way this makes sense. If you saw in the intro video how big the team is. If they give all the new content for free + the value fully back in crowns to spend (like a lot seem to want here), they basically earn almost nothing for all the work they put in the game from plus members. People and servers need to get paid if you want new content down the line.
Well... I think they would. The Worm Cult island and the blue wall do not feel like the same thing as a Chapter. People were already complaining last year that Gold Road felt scaled back from Necrom. This island does not even feel Gold Road sized. It feels Southern Elsweyr or Gold Coast.
It feels like the dungeons are added to the pot so the pot does not look so empty.
