vet1 armor > vet10 for magicka user?

Just a question. I currently wear the "warlock" set and the "furnace" set which give you additional magicka regeneration and some nice set bonus. I´m fully magicka based, but I don´t see any other armor that would have better set bonus then those two.

I wanted to ask here if the pure base stats of vet10 armors can compensate the set bonus of those two sets, or if I can make them up to legendary items and keep them all the way up to vet10 (and maybe vet12).

I checked all sets that are currently available, but none seems to be even similar good.

can you please add an option that I can upgrade my vet1 armor to vet10?
can you please add an option that I can enchant set pieces?
can you please add an option that I can echant and upgrade rings/necklace?

Maybe some high level vet10 players know if I can save my currency and not upgrade the sets or if I can invest it.

It should be possible to craft the best armours (as they said), this would also solve your problem. Dropped Set Bonus >>> crafted ones

I agree warlock is the best set in game 2nd best(for my style is the dominion(pvp ring set 10% spell crit. the problem is when I get dominion set I am stuck with rank 1 warlock gear that has bad stats for a rank 10...magika furnace is terrible drop it like a bad habit....there is a 5 set that's like rank 7 that gives the same thing as warlock gear but you need 5 pieces for it ...think its called lich gear or something( I forget)

I believe that some of the set bonuses are changing with the 1.1 patch and there will be some new sets added as the game continues.

There are many people that are geared similar to you and still wearing the Warlock and Furnace sets at higher levels. I guess it's a trade-off as to whether you want the set bonus or if you're willing to trade sets and go for higher base stats.

I think that going with your suggestion of re-enchanting the existing sets and converting them to VR10 would make these sets too powerful. There would be very little reason for most magicka based characters to have anything other than these sets.

currently I don´t see any other sets that would help a magicka user that much (except for 3% cost reduction for spells maybe).

yeah its lich gear (but nearly impossible to get since it only drops from anker bosses randomly).

I only use currently 3set part of magicka furnace for the additional 11 magicka regeneration, but I might skip this and change it for another set.

Why is magika furnace bad outside of PvP? In pvp is obvious.

I don´t use the full 5 piece bonus because it only triggers on melee hits. for a healer as example you almost never get hit by melee. also if fighting ranged, or caster mobs it will not trigger. therefore the warlock set > furnace (from my poinst of view). the 3 set bonus is still good
