I was miserable during the Vengeance campaign, but if the choice is between actual PvP and a toxic train, I'll take Vengeance every day of the week. I forgot just how godawful PvP was when they were running amuck.

What we need are just some tweaks to skills in Vengeance, and it should be tolerable. Anything is better than the c**p we're being served after Vengeance.

Normal Cyro pop locked feels so dead. There's maybe one laggy circle keep fight, and one back keep PvDoor fight. That's it. I think I'd rather have an alive Vengeance than a dead normal Cyro, even if I found the large scale in Vengeance boring (here's hoping they add Meatbags and some more skill lines, should it return in some form).

Yeah, we need a few more tweaks and more skills, BUT cross-healing needs to be severely limited. The last thing we need is ball groups wreaking havoc again. Oh, and town quests NEED to remain! That's how I level up my toons, get scripted stuff and farm when Anniversary event is on.

Ground oils, dynamic ulti gen and no aoe cap would be better than meatbags :)

I dont think meatbags should exist. One because of how automated a defense becomes. I would rather require a player on a seige actually shooting it.

On the performance side you are multiplying the worst possible conditions. Just think its a ground AoE over time effect that checks and reapplies a debuff constantly.

You are confusing Meatbags with Coldfire Ballistas, the perfect aim downward firing overpowered sticky dot being brainlessly left clicked for 7 minutes straight, which screws 1 player a lot harder than it would screw 12. Meatbags are the opposite, a stationary AoE you need to aim in the right place, they're relatively useless against 1 player, but devastating against immobile groups relying on brainless heal stacking to try to brute force a choke or objective.

There was one unintended drawback of the higher pops during Vengeance, though, and that was that only EP had a presence on PCNA during late evenings and nights, so those of us in team yellow or team blue were getting routinely rolled in 20-1 fights.

I completely failed to anticipate that there might be negatives to higher population limits, but it became genuinely miserable for the last two nights. No idea what can be done to encourage pop balance, but the higher population limits can definitely make imbalanced numbers go completely absurd.

At this point, faction-based PvP enforced as an actual game mechanic is archaic and damaging. GW2 seems to be making some progress on this front in their WvW where your team doesn't really matter, you're just choosing who you'll play with for a certain interval of time and you can swap again once it's up. Some sorta merc system would also be very welcome - maybe give people a lil AP or XP buff for playing for the other team if they're queuing into a faction that already has a ton of people, completely optional.

Really a LOT of us suggesting to bring back some kind of enhanced vengeace cyro campaign. Maybe now is the time when we as community can actually do something about this games PVP, which is in HORRIBLE state.

I made suggestions in main feedback thread for cyrodiil champions, its somewhere on the middle of page 7. Join me guys, add your own ideas about it there. This is hopefully a chance to get some kind of actually playable PVP in this game.

Balls are back, since they have all the crutches restored— and it is Boring. Would prefer a revised Vengeance to this stale, boring, proc dependent gameplay
3 GOs, a Warlord, and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP

I killed 6 ballgroup players, one at a time, last night at a milegate seige with a coldfire treb. Who knew you could kill ballgroups?
