I imagine they're trying make sure the feedback ends up in once place instead of spreading through dozens of threads that they'll lose track of. I can see pros and cons to this approach, but I do think it's stifled some useful conversations that were happening about vengeance. It's also odd because usually they're not this heavy-handed when threads inevitably pop up discussing new content, changes, and issues in the game. It's not really up to me though so I left them feedback where they want it and shall move on.

If the devs say "please put your feedback in thread X" and then people ignore that and post all of their feedback all over the place, it's a lot harder to keep track of what's going on. We all know that the forum search leaves a lot to be desired - after all, this thread is almost an exact copy of the one here, which is also on the front page, but it must not have turned up in your search results.

There's a difference between censoring something and trying to make it easy to consolidate feedback so you don't have 15 threads all saying the same thing. Especially when the same person posts the same thing in all 15 of them.

They specifically asked us to stick to the template in the feedback thread and start a new thread if we wanted to further discuss Vengeance.
