Proposed balance changes

Hi everyone,

I would like to propose some changes for 2 skills.

1. Biting jabs major sorcery/brutality should grant the buffs passively to both bars, if arcanists can have it on Tome-Bearer's Inspiration why shouldn't Templars?

2. Deceptive Predator should grant minor evasion to both bars, there are lots of skills that currently grant buffs while slotted on either bar, for example dark cloak granting minor protection.

Let me know what you think.

Unbalanced? Templars have access to Major Sorcery/Brutality and Major Savagery/Prophecy in their core damage skills and a passive for Minor Prophecy for using one of those core damage skills (Sun Fire). Along with arguably the most powerful execute in the game. But its not enough because they only get Sorcery/Brutality when jabbing? :D

Just because one class has something does not mean all classes should have it. Arcanists don't have a class skill that grants Major Savagery/Prophecy, let alone one that gives that with damage for 20 seconds. In fact, every class except Arcs and Sorcs have a class skill that provides these buffs (have to use Camo Hunter or Magelight). Does that mean an Arcanist is unbalanced versus a Templar? No.

If you want to revert jabs to the damage they dealt before the nerfs, I'm all for it. But its not like Templar is in a bad place. Its still near the top in PVE right behind the Arc. They are also viable again in PVP as their tankiness and heals are the tradeoff for damage. Arcs in PVP? Not so much.

Class diversity is dead tho especially with scribing, every class should have access to everything at this point.

Templar damage in pvp gets carried by the execute, everything else they have offensively is below average.

Nobody uses sun fire in pvp.

I completely agree with all of that. I was focusing more on PVE, too. As for PVP, I'd take a Templar over an Arc, and yes, 3 of my skills are scribed.

Even if you gave Sorcery/Brutality on both bars, the jabs nerf still hurts more than anything else
