Anyone have the Goldleaf Dye yet?

It looks like it might be a nice shade especially on metals and maybe finally something similar to the imperial warhorse mount gold.

Oh man, that’s a real disappointment. I think it depends on which armor style you’re trying to dye but almost all the golds and yellows I have look very matte. I’m still trying to find a shiny gold dye that looks anything like the imperial warhorse armor.

It's quite saturated but also matte, which makes it maybe not that good for people who want it for gold. But we do need more matte dyes and it's probably the best neutral yellow we have so far.

As someone who gets endlessly frustrated with glossy dyes when dyeing styles that has a lot of cloth and leather on them I can assure you most gold dyes are not matte. This dye seem to be like dyes such as Fire Drake and Anequina Sunrise, meaning it will make anything matte, even styles and costumes that are by default glossy.

Trying make an outfit match the colours of a mount can be so frustrating. Don't think I've ever managed get it passable the times I've tried.

A Matte Gold I think is a wonderful addition. You can use it on the cloth parts of outfits and for metals we have plenty of other dyes that shine.

With some armor styles (ebony for one) Antique Silver gives a gold I quite like.

I've got mine already a few days ago and after testing them, I've returned to the old ones I was using because, in my personal opinion, the best gold, white, and black dyes are:

- Divine Gold from Legendary Jewelry Crafter achievement;
- Julianos White (Aetherian Archive Completed) / Marble White (Excavation Virtuoso) for white, as it varies from costume to costume (or armour material);
- Coldharbour Ash Black (The god of Schemes) / Legate's Black (Alliance War Legate), as Void-Pitch Black (Honor to the Spiritblood) may, sometimes, look more like a very dark purple.

Palatine White and Legate Black, best thing (for me) to ever come out of Cyro.

Ah, yes. The eternal quest. I too share this dream.

I've never found a perfect match for either its gold OR its red, and it drives me nuts. The Tel Var-vendor Berserker armor's default color is probably the closest gold I've seen, so I use that in a couple slots and make do with Divine Gold, but I was sure hoping one of these new would legitimately match it.

I'd like to see the colours that match the banner bearer shields. (Yellow, Blue and Red).

I have yet to see a yellow dye that matches the AD banner bearer shield.

The best yellow in game (not perfect) for dyeing cloth channels is the Dominion Fisher Yellow (something like that).
