Do you suspect ESO Direct will make content unpurchaseable?

The direct will be all things Elder Scrolls!

ESO plus will give access to all content otherwise you buy the season pass.

This is just a little of what I think.

i think eso will need to start using an anti-cheat to protect their servers from intrusion and that will be the end of eso on steam for all the steamdeck and linux users.

They already using it, all calculations are done server side nowadays. If you're about denuvo drm there's no need for it.

The Agile brochure looks amazing. Adopting Agile is just one step along the path to rejecting Agile. But it is an exciting concept for inexperienced PMs.

No, agile actually sucks, sucks hard. Been a developer for 25 years, when you are working on complex systems, all it does is introduce more bugs and less time to make sure you are producing quality code.

Clearly the still have Intrusion issues. I have had my settings messed with and my toons and other players reported it also that their toons started attacking guards. Someone took control of my toon while I was signed in.

I don't think anyone can sign into your account while you're signed in. Once I attacked a guard without meaning to and I think it was because I accidentally gripped my mouse too hard, depressed the right mouse button without meaning to, and bashed a guard as I was running past. I don't know if that's what happened in your case, but in any case I don't think it's possible for someone to be logged in multiple times on a single account.

Has nothing to do with me. I use gamepad mode and wasn't even doing anything at the time.

Three MMORPG examples from two games:

SWTOR: a classical battle pass, the seasons are just reward-track themes (e.g.. "season of the hunt" = Mandalorian themed tasks and rewards) The season opens and for the next months you do your weekly/daily/seasonal chores in a golden pursuits like system. the reward track is split, one for everyone, one for subscribers - guess where the good rewards are.

GW2 used to have a seasonal system akin to tv series, with big paid expansions that were years apart, and the gap filled with seasonal story arcs split into small episodes, that were released as they were ready and were free for active players (no sub!) at the time of release. New players, or those who took a break, had to buy the season.

Recently GW2 switched to a disguised battle pass: Yearly small paid expansions with free followup stories over the year. Each followup release opens a new "season" of roughly 3 months. The season releases are included with the expansion if you buy it later. Tacked on is an endeavors-like daily/weekly/season system with its own shop, that refreshes/restocks at the start of each season. The most desirable items on the shop are reserved for owners of the expansion.

I am going in the opposite direction. The game no longer has enough content that I participate in now to warrant another sub.

When the PVP is improved or even if it is improved it will have to really go the extra mile to get me back to being willing to pay for it.

Too many years being stuck in combat while being annihilated by ball groups has ruined the game I have loved for 10 years.

I am day one player and have subbed for that entire time. But no more. The odds that the future they have planned will have anything for me are not good judging by the lack of a clear direction in last three chapters.

Since they are changing things entirely shows me a lot of people are disenchanted.

    I will wait and see.

I suspect all content will be made available with ESO Plus and those that don't want to sub buy the season pass.
