I just realized we there is an important character we don't have in ESO

I was replaying Skyrim, and after doing the Bards College, I realized that we have not seen "the most important bard in the 2nd era" Rjorn, he is painted as a very important character, so why don't we have him!!! Please Zeni, pretty please Add Rjorn, maybe as a character you can find randomly traveling through Tamriel, similar to M'aiq, but maybe more random instead of in fixed positions, and with comments related to whatever exploits you have completed with your character so far in that game

The 2nd Era was a long time period. The ESO story started 582 years into it after all. Chances are he is long dead.

Maybe he wasn't appreciated during his time and only called the most important bard of the 2nd era from the 3rd era or later onward.

That or he might still be at the point in his career where he is doing gigs in local taverns to just get by.

He could also just be some dude who hasn't become a hard yet. For all we know, he's just some guy that chops firewood atm.

Speaking of bardic figures, I’d like to see Kieran the Bard considering he has shrines of worship by the third era. Assuming he is real. Its unspecified when he was around, and he’d be great to depict someone relevant to Breton’s bardic traditions.

Rjorn was said to have been in the "Second age", which is very likely a way to say the second era, which is when ESO takes place. Buuuut, the second era went on for 896 years. ESO takes place is 582. That is 314 years left of it, so it's fully plausible he hasn't been born yet. In fact it would make the most sense he hasn't been born yet because the closer to the third era it is, the more likely history of him would be remembered.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

The 2nd Era is 896 years long and ESO is smack dab in the middle of it. I know Humans can live quite long in Elder Scrolls ie. Abnur Tharn but definitely this character could be long dead or not even born yet for us.

Let's just be glad ESO wasn't set in the 1st Era, which was nearly 3,000 years long.

Huh, I had to go check into the lore on Rjorn, it looks like all we know is those few sentences spoken by one character in Skyrim. Not sure that qualifies as an 'important character."

He probably wastes all his time trying to get rich off gambling in Tales of Tribute.

Seems like there was a bit of a missed opportunity in the game there. Rjorn is described as the greatest battle drummer:
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Rjorn's_Drum

And then in the ESO Bard's college quest to recover all the missing instruments we have the Reman War Drum:
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:An_Instrumental_Triumph

So was Rjorn's drum actually the Reman War Drum, which Rjorn took from the Bard's College to participate in battles in the latter half of the 2nd Age? Or should it have actually been called Rjorn's drum in the ESO Western Skyrim quest and he'd already made a name for himself using it?

Edit: Don't have that chapter, but is Halldir's Cairn (the location where you find the drum in the Skyrim quest) included in the Falkreath map? Another missed opportunity if not (although the mention in Skyrim is indeed a little obscure).

He is leading all the children in a sing-a-long followed by a good game of hide and seek.

It is the bards college though... how do we know he actually existed? He could be a mythical figure (king Arthur style).

Or maybe... we find out that the reason the 3 faction war started was really because there was an annoying neighbor that wouldn't stop playing the drums till 4am...
