Help with Skill Distribution MagNecro DPS

Hello

i have a Khajiit Necromancer Magicka DPS that im not sure if i put the right or wrong Skills on
i mostly work with 1 bar but do have both bars available.
Currently i got this bar set-up
1 Healing Soul
2 Unnerving Boneyard IV
3 Resistant Flesh IV
4 Ricochet Skull IV
5 Beckoning Armor IV
ULT Glacial Colossus IV

my main concern is that keep dying and most skills take a lot out of the Magicka bar and id like to improve that.
maybe its also a fault in my Armor, i currently got 5 Pieces of Mother's Sorrow and 5 Pieces of Elemental Catalyst and its not enough to protect my Chara

I haven't played my dps magcro in a long time, but solo survivability is a big issue for them. I haven't tooled around with mine enough to know what an efficient dps setup is, but to help with survivability, I might use the scythe for your heal, and then try to work in a damage shield if you are going to wear 2 light sets. Beyond that, if you are going to use Elemental Catalyst, you are pretty much going to be married to using a fire staff back bar for flame elemental wall, the shocking siphon necro skill, and bone yard for cold damage.

If you are trying to make this build for group play, then your overall damage may be less in order to create a setup that will maximize uptime for EC. However, you should coordinate with your group because you can get similar group buffs if one of the tanks run Lucent Echos.

For a simple DPS setup that mostly utilizes one bar, I'd probably go with these skills:

Blighted Blastbones, Unnerving Boneyard, Detonating Siphon (or Mystic Siphon if sustain is an issue), Skeletal Archer and a spammable such as Ricochet Skull/Ghostly Embrace/Traveling Knife/Hungry Scythe

And then you could use your back bar for defensive skills. You could for example use Summoner's Armor. It lasts 30 seconds, unlike Beckoning Armor, so you wouldn't have to switch to your back bar to activate it often. That skill also decreases the cost of Blastbones and Skeletal Archer, so it would improve your sustain a little bit too.

You could also consider using Spirit Guardian on the back bar, one burst heal, and maybe even another HOT like Echoing Vigor if you'd still die quickly.
