AP boosting and toxicity

It seems like there is so many toxic players in pvp. Raven is completely owned by DC. You can see the scores and notice everyone has pretty much been ran off the server. Blackreach isnt much better. You have too many people getting on one faction with their whole guild and taking keeps only to swap to another faction and take them back. It has gotten to the point that pvp is a place where me and a lot of my friends no longer want to play. I feel all the servers should be faction locked like Grey Host is and maybe it will stop a lot of the problems going on.

I will assume Raven is a low-pop campaign on the server you play on since it is that way on my server. As such, one can expect an imbalance all the time It has the lowest population on PC NA as we speak. There is a problem with having boutique campaigns instead of just enough campaigns for the number of players expected at prime time. During slow times, all campaigns will be imbalanced by design. Zenimax will not do anything to balance out team numbers in campaigns. Cyrodiil is not intended to be competitive in that manner.

So, I suggest Gray Host for a more balanced team experience during prime time. If you really want to play faction lock, then it is Gray Host, though there is nothing to suggest that faction lock will have the effect suggested in the OP.

As for toxicity, welcome to PvP, where cross-faction whispers are easy. I do suggest taking an SS and reporting any behavior that is harassment or other behavior that is a violation of the ToS. Other than that, ignore the conversation.

This problem has nothing to do with faction locks/no faction locks, but all to do with the campaign being empty/low population.

The off-camps are completely dead and non-functional, and have been that way for years. Sometimes a single group/guild will show up to crown emp, because that's all you can do on a dead camp. If you want any action at all, your options are Gray Host during NA prime time (dead the other 18 hours), or 8v8 solo BGs (fun when not sitting in queue).

Sadly this has been a growing problem on one alliance in the GH campaign for PS-NA. You look at the scores and the differences is just insane. Emp with 13+mil while second place is maybe at 4-5mil, lol. I get you accumulate more AP as emp but the score gaps just seem way too out of place

This is true. A while back I went to Raven and SOLO I took three keeps and never saw one person. It was fun for a bit but that ended quickly. ZoS either needs to change it up in these two types or just shut them down.

They should get rid of blackreach and make ravenwatch a 7 day campaign.

Even since the Vengeance testing ended there's been a surge in people on EP toons openly assisting DC players on Gray Host. Several of them with a history of toxic behaviors, and other things not permitted to be said on this forum. Of those many were previously running DC toons.

Today some of these people, amongst others, began trading keeps back and forth between red and blue groups. All while letting the first place team hold onto scrolls that belonged to the red team.

Oh, and yes, it was all seen on a stream. The appropriate parts have been sent to ZOS. So here's hoping they'll do something about the rampant cheating.

    Character: Telel
    Class: Night Blade-Werewolf-viking-ninja-catgirl-mallet wielder
Past times: Refusing to go full magika spec, hitting things with a big hammer, sniping, and speaking in khajiit
Also: Gelel the Derp Knight, Altsel the streaker, and Filafel the temp temp.

Yeah we have one player who basically is only seen on Hammer spawns and turns over hammer to DC every single time. EP players call his name in zone chat warning he will do it. His name has been called in EP zone chat by at least 20 players for doing this. I got a screen shot of him telling someone he got paid gold to turn over hammer. Sent to ZOS ... nothing done. (you can't post these on forums even with names covered ...... ) He has found this spot at Chal to drop the hammer where it sort of sticks on the wall and you can only pick it up if you are on the ground I guess. Of course 10 dc standing next to chal to get it. And take 2-3 keeps. And yet this isn't "cheating" .... but it is ruining everyone's game play. Why try? Let DC have the map. Let them win. We all figured out years ago that winning doesn't really give worthwhile rewards.

That's why I liked Vengeance so much ... no one cared about such. And there was NO hammer.

I'm fine with Blackreach. It fills a void for when lag overcomes Gray Host but I still want to kill. It would be great if both were 7 day

I think many got fed up with the EP Zerg and decided to join the faction that finished third.
The irony is that they all joined the Blues and ended up back... in the Zergy Faction. :D

Toxicity has always been a part of PvP, regardless of the game. You have to deal with it, up to a certain limit, of course.

After 11 years of PVP in ESO, most of it leading PUGs, Telel has learned to deal with quite a bit.

But they're still gonna mock the 'pros' who need to resort to shenanigans. Especially when those 'pros' pretend that their K/D ratio makes up for their irrelevance in the Cyrodiil game mode.

I, too, have seen the rise in the KDR players. It has never been a measure of skill in any game, COD, GTA, whatever. All it usually signifies is that the player is a try-hard who would rather hang back and not engage, and when caught, kill themselves to avoid their KDR going down. In ESO, that's either a zerglling or player who jumps off a keep to their death. Nobody cares about KDR outside of these players
