New Crafting Station

This furnishing would be able to go in your house. And when you use it, it has all your furnishing recipes and is able to craft all of them from that one station.

It would be much simpler to see all the furnishings you can craft at one location and be allowed to craft each item from it.

It sounds like you think OP is saying we all-in-one every single crafting station. What's being suggested is one new crafting station that can craft all furnishings across all crafting disciplines. Just furnishings.

I think this is a GREAT idea and it would be an excellent writ voucher reward, antiquity, achievement furnishing, all that jazz.

It'd also be cool to have a recipe library for your character knowledge so we can preview everything we can produce. I have so many furnishing mats and I've eaten SO many recipes, if I had a tenth of an idea of what I'm actually capable of crafting my home would be so much more decked out.
Thank you for coming to my T E D talk

I assume this is sarcasm, since all furnishings can already be crafted in homes, they just require multiple tables.
But ok then don't make this table purchaseable, but add it to every crafting location as an extra table.

That is exactly what I am recommending. A one and done location for furnishing crafting. And I love the idea you have of the multiple ways to get it.

To be honest, we’ve needed this for a very, very long time and there would be no downsides whatsoever to have one furnishing crafting station instead of all the different types being split up the way they are now. In fact, I bet this has been mentioned multiple times in the pain points thread! 🙂

I really like the idea - this would be awesome. If you know hundreads of furnishing recipies it´s getting really hard to remember what to craft where.

Even if you have all crafting stations available you still have to go through them to find where to craft what.

And you dont have any overview over the different possibilities you have for an items since they are spread over different stations. Take candles for example - just some entries - (the full liste you can find at https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Lighting_Furnishings/Candles):

    Blacksmithing:
    Alinor Candelabra, Wrought Iron
Alinor Sconce, Candles (is of wood if you look at it...)
Alinor Sconce, Candles Tall (is of wood if you look at it...)
    Breton Candelabra, Formal
    Breton Candle, Grand
    ...
    Woodworking:
    Alinor Candles, Stand
    Alinor Candles, Tall Stand
    Telvanni Candelabra, Masterwork
    ...
    Enchanting:
    Apocrypha Candlestick, Twisted
    Druidic Gourd Candles, Stone
    Elsweyr Candle, Column
    Telvanni Candelabra, Organic (Wood look...)
    ....
    Provisioning:
    Argonian Light, Stick
    Argonian Lights, Branch
    Argonian Tree of Lights
    Breton Chamberstick, Short
    Breton Chamberstick, Tall
    Candle Set, Ritual
    Candle, Group
    Common Candle, Lasting
    Elsweyr Candle, Saucer
    ...
    Alchemy:
    Indoril Candelabra, Shrine
    Murkmire Candle, Standing Shell
Telvanni Candle, Fungal Standing (the other Telvanni lights are in Enchanting and Woodworking)
    Telvanni Candles, Fungal Group

On PC Add Ons like craftstore can support you but it´s just tedious

We had a guildy just get her first house and we we wanted to send her house warming gifts but it was so painful trying to go through things when all we wanted to do was make alinor furniture for her. We need a central station for all furnishing recipes WITH a search function.

Y'know… I kinda agree with this proposal, mostly because I can't for the life of me remember what kinda of furnishing recipe belongs to what crafting station (Blueprint, Praxis, etc.), so having a crafting station to rule them all (hehe) would be nice.

Alternatively, since I believe programmatically a filtering is applied to the furnishing crafting panel, then remove such filtering on Grandmaster Crafting Stations and let them craft them all.

    @DUTCH_REAPER solid idea.

I am not appaled at how the game works currently, but I have spent my fair share of time trying to figure out what station a certain item I want to craft is, to the point that I often have to tab out, find a website with the furniture item and see what station crafts it.

Somethings are obvious like rugs/curtains, but others are a bit mysterious (hmm...its made of metal, is that jewelry or blacksmithing.....ohh wait, neither it was enchanting).

Anyway, cool idea. I'd personally like to see some kind of Clockwork machine that crafts items. Big and cool with steam coming out and schematics/blueprints plastered on the sides. Man I love a lot of the aesthetic of this game.

I'd be very happy with a dedicated furniture crafting station, enough to pay real money for it.

I've asked for a furniture crafting station a few times over the years. It's not always obvious which station we need for an item, and it's annoying to have to run to multiple stations just to see which beds we can make.

The furnishings also need to be separated into subcategories so we don't have to scroll forever because of the huge amount of patterns out there.

This is long overdue, and with this being a year for Quality of Life this should be near the top of the list.

Even just a way to search would help a huge amount. The current furnishing crafting is barely manageable.

I currently use this add-on to add a search box on Furniture Crafting Panels, since there's no native way to do it.

Granted, I'm on PC. Don't know how console add-ons work or even if it's available for them.

I would also love to see this! There have been multiple times I’ve gotten the recipe to build something cool and then ate it on my crafter and then went…wait…where do I need to go to make one of those? …and then it never gets made. 😔

A superb suggestion! A dedicated furniture station would be absolutely awesome.

As stations are available on all platforms this would be a massive QOL increase for many players.

At present my furnishing forays are a very convoluted affair:
    • Open Housing editor
    • Browse through the Crown purchasing tab to find approximately what I'm looking for (The trial function is a veritable boon as one can preview the furniture item in place). Now to see if the item is craftable.
    • Close Housing editor
    • Open the excellent Character Knowledge (Scribing, Motif, Recipe, and Furnishing Plan Tracker) https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info2938-CharacterKnowledgeScribingMotifRecipeandFurnishingPlanTracker.html
    • Check if the furniture item exists as learnable and if one knows it.
    • For very expensive Crown furniture store goods that are craftable one needs to search for the knowledge.
    • It's also very useful to search and learn to craft furniture items that one uses often.
A dedicated furniture station would simply this process considerably.

For those that use addons a very simple all in one tool is Dolgubons Lazy Set Crafter. It now has a furnishing option. You search for the type, style, category etc. Load it into the Queue and then visit the station that it indicates, or take a tour. It will automatically craft the items for you. (So be very careful if you use the multiplier option for walls and then don't clear it before you choose Alinor Clocks, that has never happened to me before...)

Bonus, if you don't know the Furnishing, but know someone that does, you can send them an email with the request to craft it for you, and you can see what materials it will take so you can send that in another email. If they have the addon they will have a button in the email that loads the request into their queue automatically.

But yeah, a one station option would be nice, especially for those that don't want to use addons or are unable to.
