After downloading update 45, my game has gone completely silent. The startup from launching still has audio; the bethesda and zenimax logos, but as soon as you reach the log-in menu: complete silence. I can log in, character selection is completely silent as well, but I can play the cinematic from the character select, and audio works on it, and as soon as I get back to character select the silence resumes. I log in on a character; everything is still silent.

I have tried resetting my settings for audio and other settings (in-game and at log-in screen), I've disabled addons, I've ran repairs from the launcher, but nothing has restored audio. I've even looked in my audio lines from the game document files and compared them to a friend's, and the usual "Is the document code at 1 or 0?" matches theirs, so it doesn't look like the audio is turned off there either. And yes, I've made sure my version of windows is up to date as well.

I have no idea how to fix this, and I don't want to go through the lengthy process of deleting and re-downloading the entire game unless I have to, and even then it might end up being for nothing, which would be disheartening. Is there anything I'm missing?
