I found a ladder in a hole in Vvardenfell

I was heading to Nchuleft Delve in Vvardenfell and I fell though a crack into a hole. Much to my surprise there was a ladder in it so I could climb back out!

If I remember correctly this was actually the case. A lot of people falling into that hole and pointed out it is a bad spot, so they added a ladder.[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!2 -

✭✭✭✭✭I though there was something at the bottom, like some scraps of junk, or an item or two, which might suggest that someone else had been there previously? I haven't been there in a long time, but I remember thinking the scene looked deliberate. The game is filled with a lot of little scenes which serve to spark your imagination about what's the story behind this or that.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!1 -

But why a ladder and who put it there? Travellers didn't usually carry ladders around with them.PCNA0 -

Actually, there are multiple skulls and other skeletal remains (i.e., bones), some of which are partially covered by rubble. If I remember correctly, my first thought back when I came across this location several years ago was that it's remnants from an archaeological dig or research expedition of some kind.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

SpiritofESO✭✭✭✭There is a charming place west of Black Boot keep in Cyrodiil where a plank is placed across the gap between a rise of earth and an adjacent large boulder.
When you walk across the plank there is a "romantic" spot where is placed on the ground a small cold campfire (if memory serves), a bottle (of wine?) and a leather-bound journal with a quill resting on top.
