Get on BlueSky Zenimax.
There are quite a few of us regularly on this forum who don't touch "social crap media" with a thousand foot pole. So yes, I would far prefer it if ZOS put most of the info here instead of on those sites.

It would actually be nice if ZeniMax focused more on their own forum, rather than spread the community over too many platforms (that said, I did just follow you on Bluesky and comment on a post!).

The amount of people who are on the forums vs Reddit, Discord, X, BlueSky, Instagram, etc. are night and day.
I'm of the opposing view point. I want them to hit those other social media platforms to solicit more feedback than stay siloed in the forums. The barrier to entry for the forums is real and theres only a sliver of players on here vs those other platforms.

And it is presented on the ESO page and forums. Did you miss an announcement that was only available elsewhere?
Or are you inferring that it should only be presented on the official ESO page and forums?

How about changing " Let us know via X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook." to say " Let us know via the official ESO forums, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook."

This is true, and for all the wrong reasons. I'll just leave it at that. I disagree that we should get any game related updates via social media, but I do agree that it's a problem that so few have access to this, the official forums. The problem is why so few have access to posting on the official forum even though everyone can read them at any time.

100%. There's no need for all these social media platforms when a game or company has a perfectly good website of its own.

Everyone has access to the official forums. If you can play ESO, you have access to the forums (well excepting the bad apples who've receive forum bans).

If only bad apples were banned then you'd have a point.
