Surely you can't actually view someone's account status?
I mean I know lots of good players who don't spend any money on the game anymore. They they already paid for what they need to play the pvp part of the game. eso+ membership doesn't give you any advantage in pvp over having directly bought what you need.

Let me get this straight, OP: A couple of jerks are harassing you and your solution is to punish thousands of innocent bystanders who have done nothing wrong? Just as long as it also hits the actual perpetrators? Wow, am I glad that real-life justice systems don’t operate on such asinine design principles…

    Insightful.

Well since the disturbing in game mail I posted was removed, most of you didn't see it. It clearly shows that these bullies do NOT fear you sending screen shots to zos. I considered it a clear intent of sexual harassment.

They don't fear being banned because they just hop on a VPN and create another account.

How did I get all of the profiling information? I simply kept a list of these disrespectful and harassing creepy weirdo perverts and ASKED them. Not on my main account but another one. I'm not divulging personal information about anyone but I can tell you with a simple bit of conversation, most of them will tell you ANYTHING. And hop on SKYPE without any coaxing, in fact at their own suggestion. Not my fault they reveal everything and give out unlimited details, including their real geographic location. Really, a pathetic bunch of losers. No wonder they resort to in game bully and harassment.

I just noted that all of them did not have subs. Have been banned 3 plus times (and more).

This "report them". doesn't work. Well, whatever never mind. I'm playing a new game now.

Man, someone mailed you an in-game food item. That's not sexual harassment by itself. Maybe there's context we're missing here but if so, we'll never understand what the context is.

Yes but it is too much trouble to screen shot and report.

I don't PVP, so I don't have an indrik in that race. But I am confused: how is it too much trouble to screenshot bad actors and report them...but NOT too much trouble to come onto the forums, make a thread complaining about the situation, post a mail one of the trolls sent you, and then debate the subject with people replying to this thread?

(Not to OP, but to everyone in general: as always, to anyone wondering about reporting game issues or other actors, I always recommend using the support portal at https://help.elderscrollsonline.com to send your reports versus doing it in-game. In-game reports tend to be ignored by support at a much higher rate, in my personal experience.)

I’m sorry, but this idea remains one of the most explicit examples of gatekeeping I’ve seen suggested. I can’t in good conscience support this at all.

I don't have eso+ but I bought the game. I should be able to play, right?

Absolutely. This shouldn’t even be a question. I’m sorry that people are attempting to devalue other players and their experiences.

YES I do consider it harassment when I told them NOT to send me any mail and I was sending screen shots to ZOS of their actions. And they say "screen shot this". I can assure you this would legally be defined as "sexual harassment" "a piece of meat" .... this wasn't just "food". They sent the mail before I had time to remove someone from ignore and place them on it.

Yes because ESO is B2P. It is not F2P. I have no idea where that F2P came from because everyone who is playing the game right now has paid to play it.

One thing I have found is that if I do not reply to or react to hateful comments or other absurd stuff, the players tend to leave me alone. I have seen some pretty funny stuff come my way. My guild gets a laugh out of the hate whispers I receive in Cyrodiil and when we pug a 4th via the GF for dungeons, and that pug is obnoxious, and we kick them after I suggested being more of a team player, aka not being a jerk.

As a result, my ignore list has less than five players on it, probably no more than two.

So ignore them. If it’s this bad, then report them and include your screenshots. If you feel it violates state and/or federal laws—assuming you’re in the US—then I would suggest you contact the appropriate authorities. But suggesting that because of this, there should be a requirement to have ESO+ in order to access a PVP campaign that’s quite old by the standards of video games does not make sense to me.
