Ball groups

Tell me people how many of you take half-year / year pauses from ESO always after couple of weeks of playing just because you love PvP, but you get tired of senseless latency exploiting ball groups?

I would have no problem if it would be a skill based issue, but we are not supposed to fight latency and server processing queue, because that's not a battle anybody can win.
(but opposing ball group completely obliterating FPS and latency too and forcing one group out of server processing priority with even larger spam)

How an exploitation play style has a place in the game? And we don't need to play dumb, we all know how it works.

I play since 2016 and almost only PvP and this is absurd.
What's the point?

I personally play couple of weeks or months per year while I have strong enough nerves.
Always when I come back, I buy ESO+ to play comfortably.

So I actually don't understand how the silent priority for ball groups from the dev side fits the companies business model.
Discouraging many potentially paying customers from the important part of the game is quite weird.
Randoms are bulk of the game, not exploiting spam groups.

The game servers and game engine have specific capabilities.
Time, software and hardware limitations exist.
This game is extensively tough on processing, with thousands of abilities and effects cross-affecting each other.
When a controlled and permanent massive spam of effects and abilities occurs in a very small area, the processing for the surrounding area gets completely overwhelmed.
This results in opposing players dying for lag and delay while their are unable to do anything about that, while the ball groups are rolling over them overwhelming the hardware and software capabilities of the game.
Ball groups knowingly kill massive amounts of players solely via latency abuse and knowingly destroy the flow and the point of the whole Cyrodiil game mode.
It's an obvious exploitation, therefore against ToS.

There is nothing like "running a ball group and unknowingly killing people frozen in delay", it's a simple fact of the reality.
Anybody playing this game for years knows how the latency and everything works in Cyrodiil.

If you are a member of lucky 1% of players with magically good server priority, then good for you.
    99% others aren't that lucky.

If this is true, then there is no need for the upcoming vengeance campaign testing. Right? Just send ZOS an email telling them you have it all figured out. I've played for a long time. There has always been poor performance in Cyrodiil. But to say people are exploiting is a very serious claim that should be backed up by proof.

Cyro used to be full of zergs. Now it's dead. The zergs all quit because they're sick of ball groups.

Rushing Agony is often what casuals or noobs think is an "exploit" because its mechanics are so abnormal.

I quit eso plus because they refuse to address unkillable lawn mower groups running around using Vicious Death and Rush of Agony. I refuse to play in a 24 man zerg to counter this nonsense. My monthly subscription will resume once pull sets and cross healing are properly addressed.

You know. From a sarcastic point of view, It also makes the game more addictive if ballgroups and other unkillables would not be there. We have to find fun somewhere else it looks like.

Haven't played in days, really no motivation or interest. Last time I was in Cyro it was the same nonsense of multiple comped groups running 50k health with RoA/VD, stacked heals and shields. As others mentioned here, there used to be zergs upon zergs making for exciting and fun large scale fights. Now it's just 6-12 man comped groups running wild with barely any counter to them. You make a post on here about it and some agree while others call it "skill issue" or you're told to just adapt or make a group of your own. Siege does absolutely nothing, even cold fires and lancers, they just shield/heal through it. I've been playing PvP for years now and I don't think I've ever seen Cyro in as bad of shape as it is now.

If it's not the ballgroups it's you being stuck in combat 24/7 having to spam RaT from keep to keep just missing fights, if it's not that it's the insane amount of lag from certain comped groups with all the synergies and buffs up constantly. I'm really hoping the new campaign brings back how Cyro used to be but as of right now, I'm pretty skeptical

It fits into the business model because from 2019-2024, zero resources were put into improving Cyrodiil, yet there is a hardcore sector of the PvP community who will still pay for ESO+, but Crown Crates, and continue to log in even though every night they have to deal with these awful mechanics.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

This era also saw remaining hardcore ball groups quitting for good, guild and raid leads quitting for good, surviving groups constantly being forced to consolidate and share players, so their model failed this demographic as well.
