How to turn off Votan's minimap and revert to default ESO map?
Maintenance for the week of March 31:

I am trying to disable Votan's minimap addon but this "breaks" the default ESO map.
This is how it looks when it is disabled. It looks almost like the map has been replaced by the mini map. I can move it and resize the window.

Things I have tried in effort to revert to the default ESO map:
Anyone able to help or give tips what I can try?
Reinstalling the addon, restores the map but i no longer want it...

- Check for obsolete files
- Repair files

OK. Is it like this for all characters?
Go to "Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\SavedVariables" and make a copy of "ZO_Ingame.lua".
When edit the file. What is the value of ["userMode"] ? All the same and "2"?
If not, try to change to "2" and try again.
If it does not help, delete the section ["WorldMap"] and try again.
Do this while ESO is not running.

I only have one character.
Checked the value, found the first value for ["userMode"] was "1", all other values were "2".
Changed it to 2, this has resolved the problem.
Tried to enable and disable the addon again and I cannot reproduce it.

Baertram✭✭✭✭✭If the addon is disabled in the addon manager, and you reloaded the UI afterwards, the code (of Votan's Minimap) to alter the map size is not run anymore and all you see that changes the map must be any other addon or library you still got enabled at that time.
