    Dear Kevin,

do i get it right there will be no Golden reward box a day with a good chance of new style pages drop,
but only regular purple boxes with "Very small chance to receive a NEW Unbound Arkay Unending Cycle outfit style page".
and bound pages from the Impresario?

with "Very small chance" per box players who want them style pages should spend the most of theirs tickets for style,
    not quarterly collectible fragments.

"Arkay Unending Cycle" is mentioned six times
    1) New style introduced "NEW—Arkay Unending Cycle Outfit Style"
    2) New style advertised "Terrify your opponents with the macabre visage of the Arkay Unending Cycle outfit style, dropped in Pelinal Boon Boxes."
    3) Drop chances declared "Very small chance to receive a NEW Unbound Arkay Unending Cycle outfit style page."
    4) one drop a day declared "An Ayleid Lich outfit style or Dovah's Du'ul style page may drop instead if you’ve already collected the Arkay Unending Cycle style pages"
    5) at image caption: "The Arkay Unending Cycle Style"
    6) mentioned in a list of Event Vendor goods: "Impresario is offering players during Whitestrake’s Mayhem:"

Thus, may i, please, wonder how small is that "Very small chance to receive a NEW Unbound Arkay Unending Cycle outfit style page." ? 1:16, 1:30, 1:100?
    Just wondering.

Will the golden vendor prices be reduced to match the other weekly jewellery (especially since the legendary upgrade material change)? I think this was forgotten last year so wondering if it's been updated over the year or not.

Rewards of the Worthy is a source of the Pelinal boxes. I may not be noted in the article. Will pass that on to the team for a potential update.

Pricing will not be reduced because all Golden Vendor items will only be available for AP and not gold during Whitestrake's Mayhem.

No golden boxes, you are correct. Just the purple Pelinal boxes.

@ZOS_Kevin this was the communication regarding prices during the previous event:

My favorite time of the year! Mayhem!

I'm looking forward to when y'all are able to let more people in because the queues are quite long in my home campaign. The malicious attack situation is also dampens the fun because I have to avoid large fights due to disconnecting and fear of the 100+ queue.

I'm still happy for the event though 😀

Yeah, I always prefer to play in my home campaign during these events, because I want my AP earnings to count toward my standing in the campaign. But once I get to the highest tier of rewards-- which doesn't usually take very long-- then I'm not sure why I still worry about that, because I'll never even come close to being in the lead and getting crowned Emperor. So I might as well just pick from whichever campaigns don't have a queue to get in.

The items in the pelinial boxes are really bad this year. I haven't gotten a single coldfire ballista, and there's only 1 repair kit in there. The style motifs are all older ones, too. Can you guys please improve the items in the boxes? We've been asking for this for a few years now.

I've gotten several of those things (repair kits, siege equipment). As usual, the contents are determined by RNG, so chances are better the more boxes you earn. Keep trying, and remember there's still over a week left in the event. Increasing the RNG for certain items would be nice, though.

Remove PVP. Make a different game that is called three banners war and migrate it there. I don't care.

The mix between PVP and PVE doesn't work at all. Different play style, different sets, different stats and soon, different skills. There is nothing in common.

If you keep the mode, which I assume you will. Treat it separately. Nothing in PVP should give you any advantage in PVE. You don't expect PVP-players clearing Tripple-Achievements in PVE, don't expect PVE-players doing so in PVP. And, as there is no mid-game in PVP, everything above low-level campaigns is end-game.
    - No PVP sets for PVE and vice versa. I will miss deadly strike but it's worth it.
    - A different source for trirune glyphs for PVE.
    - No event tickets in PVP events. Give them other rewards like you do with golden pursuits: All rewards are PVP-flavored. Good job. Keep it that way.

Why am I against this? By making an event in PVP you say to aLL players - come, take a look at PVP. Arriving there, they are ripped apart by mechs you need a long time to master. You need to farm gear as medium armor won't do. You should get some trirune glyps, you should check a ton of vids online just to find out that you won't be able to even scratch a real PVP-player. You will be too dead to do so - or he will stand in the middle of 20 opponents like you and just laugh at your attempts to hurt him.

In IC, you cannot quest. You will get killed. Period. Some few will stop hitting you if you just block - and if you're lucky enough you won't tick to death because you didn't bring anything to cleanse. And that's okay. Normally. You chose to go into a pvp area, don't expect people to be nice. It is a toxic environment, but you don't need to go there. The event sais: you should.

ESO is a PVE game mainly. Most activities, most areas including starting point, are PVE. PVP are several modes you put on top of that. And you don't need to go on killing sprees for the Dark Brotherhood if you don't want to. You don't need to play cards, you don't need to play thieves guild - everything is optional. PVP should be too. BGSs, IC, Cyrodiil are nothing but addons after all.

For everyone suffering under this event - there is are tricks to make things better:
    - IC: PVP events normally take place early in the year and in the beginning of the second half. Take some chars and make some quests in IC before the event does start. PVP-Pros will leave you alone if you show them that you are no threat. Most of them at least. Sometimes they need to realise that you are question and kill you some times, but they will stop eventually.
    - In Cyrodiil it's the other way round: check when your alliance is present on the servers and join a group. Start with heavy armor, s&b front and healing back. Buy some sieges and some repair kits. Don't forget to take the daily quests (located at one of the bases). Follow the group and hope to get some lucky kills. Defending gives you more kills as you have the high ground. Use oil or, if you cannot afford it, fire ballistas. Don't bother range attacks.
For town quests: jump from campaign to campaign and check where your alliance has turned almost the whole map. (Fishing works best in these campaigns, too).
    - For BGs: Try to get the contribution/win one match quests, queue over the activity finder for daily reward and join 8 vs. 8 solo matches. Don't worry - most people don't know what they're doing, nobody will realize that you're one of them. Try playing the tasks the game gives you as this gives more points than kills (beside death match). In the end, it's luck if your team does win or lose.

For all modes: Don't bother trying to kill pros. You won't. Tower runners, ball groups, gankers - leave them alone. If you can. And learn to block. Especially when capturing flags you might get bombed. Blocking saves your life. Heavy armor (don't forget to set skill points into passive skills) will, too. Shields help if they are good. When flag is turned, gain some distance.

If they are teabagging you, just know that people making fun of noobs, most often are on the receiving end in real life and that it's not worth getting angry over someone whose teabags are decaf at best. ;-)

Still, I'd prefer to see PVP disappear and to have some nice questing area in the middle of the board. A big neverending raid with waves of opponents pressing with different tactics against your defenses, you leading attacks against enemy keeps, ... there are many ways to bring servers to their limit. You don't need PVP for that.

    PVE player here.

I like Cyrodiil and the Sewers. I consider then high stake sneak zones.
Yes I get killed fast but they have to find me first !

No, do not take PvP away or take the PvE elements out of it.
I feel proud of getting IC stickerbook sets while everybody is hunting for me :-D

This is an opinion I can agree to. If you like the thrill, IC is a good place for you.

What I don't like, are the event part and the impact of PVP on PVE and vice versa. Skills and sets are being changed in both PVP and PVE if it is overpowered in PVP. Which is understandable as such, but having to adopt in PVE because of a different mode is frustrating. Especially since "works on players" x "works on npcs" is a good way to solve most of such conflicts.

Plus, for me, most PVP modes are something in between boring and badly done. It's hard to learn against minmaxed players. You don't go for Godslayer in PVE before seeing at least similar content in normal and vet. Most players go through many more steps before arriving there. In PVP I miss something like a mid-game.

And I lost hope that there will be any improvements.
Without the events, I just would stop playing it. But, unfortunately, I'm dumb enough to try it ever time which finishes by me deactivating ESO+ and playing also less PVE for a while.

    Greetings,

... we would like everyone to keep posts on the subject at hand, civil, and constructive.

    here

    Constructive:
    General:
    - Separation of PVE and PVP by PVP skills/set boni impacting other players, only.
    - Less broken setups (unkillable tower runners, instant kill kombos, procs that do all the work for you, ...). What the hell is wrong with Deadlands Demolisher? A tank build that just bashes you to death? Sorry, that is just ridiculously bad.
    - Give players 2 starting armory slots: 1 for PVE, 1 for PVP. You enter PVP, PVP slot is loaded. When exiting, PVE is applied. Best to switch the inventories, too. You don't have to micromanage PVP and PVE-items. I think that this might get more PVE-players to try PVP than short events where they learn event-PVP and drop it when realising real PVP is nothing like that.

    Cyrodiil:
    - More different keeps. Stronger ones at the gates, maybe with walled resources.Maybe with more flags. Maybe with additional defense towers for ballistics/oil that can be taken down separately. Maybe preinstalled ballistics that are harder to destroy than mobile ones. Maybe NPCs using them until player takes over. Maybe with zwinger zones as choke points. Everything that slows down one fraction to paint the whole map in one color.
    - Mid-game campaigns with transparent ELO system (top third goes to max level campaign, mid third remains where they are, lower third goes one level down). Cut - Option 1: Queuing for higher campaigns possible, but not for lower. Option 2: Queuing for higher campaign possible as group. Option 3: No downgrade if you played 3/10/30 times on a certain level until would descent 3/10/30 times. Option 4: More 3-4-5 or even more separated leagues. Advantage: You have more motivation to keep playing PVP if you want to keep your level. Advantage 2: in events, pros can continue undisturbed and noobs aren't overwhelmed.
    -

    BGs:
    - ELO. Maybe it is there and I am too impatient to wait for it to work. But 4x4 seems not balanced enough.Too many onesided games I had (when joined by accident).
    - 8x8. hard to be constructive. I think it's just too chaotic for my taste and with no alternative as I don't feel ready for 4x4, BGs died with the last change for me.
    - Ah, forgot. Fix queues. I don't know what goes wrong, but there are 15 players found within seconds and No 16 just doesn't seem to be found for minutes? Why?

    IC:
    - It is good. The only thing I don't like is that PVE-player are motivated to quest there. You try, die, respawn somewhere, go down to base, climb up ladder, try again. Eventually you make it. Sometimes you aren't attacked as pros don't see any benefit (no telvars/aps) and other noobs are glad they don't need to fight. Most of the time you die. Give PVP some different incentive for IC like tripple tel var/keys/pursuit events. Alternatively pair PVP and Non-PVE-events so the player can decide where to go for his tickets.

I think that there are many ways to make PVP better in ESO. Many of the suggestions are old and I cannot take credit for most of them. And sorry that I didn't mention it earlier: it's my opinion. This are suggestion that might make the mode better for me. If others like to follow some tanks into a tower or being overrun by ballgroups every 30 seconds, be my guest.

Cyrodil has PvE times then your faction own the map, usually in the morning. Early on you can even catch the run and its give loads of AP as you take all the keeps, resources and scrolls, then you PvE getting the skyshards 😺

IC is also best at early morning of you want to PvE, its an way more dangerous zone however.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
