Dragons are fun if there are enough players around. Unfortunately in between events there are often no one around to help (at least in Northern Elsweyr, Southern may be different).

Harrowstorms are ok, until I always get one-shotted by those giant crows.

I've never done Bastion Nymics because they require a group and unlike the other types, you can't just wait for a few minutes until others turn up as they are instanced.

Mirrormoor Incursions are interesting as you have to defeat the mini bosses first, but I find there are two many invuln phases on the final bosses and I often get confused who I should be attacking.

    Dolmens (Dark Anchors)
Dolmens, without contest. Dolmens are not too tough, soloable, don't take too long, and the enemies spawn close to eachother. All important and good traits for a world event.

Seconded by dragons and abyssal geysers. Dragons are just cool, and abyssal geysers for mostly the same points as I mentioned with dolmens.

The worst world events to me are: Bastion Nymic(entry fee, have to group), harrowstorms(much too strong, take too long, barely anyone even wants to do these), and oblivion portals(should be solo instance up until the boss, waiting for the boss is no fun).

All the others are ok-ish in my opinion.

PS: I do like all the different themes and overall diversity of all these world events.

With dragons a close second, then abyssal geysers.

For me, after Elsweyr, the world incursions got worse. Bastion Nymic is the worst because it's in a separate area, so you can't spontaneously group with people like you can with everything else.

Ordinarily I like dragon world events because they have a good mix of difficulty and popularity. If more people did harrowstorms, those would be my favourite instead, but unfortunately they're usually empty except during relevant events. Harrowstorms are exciting and challenging, out in the open so anyone can join, and have no invulnerability phases.

I dislike oblivion portals and Bastion Nymics, basically any world event with phases requiring running around windy passages looking for portals/bosses (also hate delves for this reason), or invulnerability phases.

I'd like Mirrormoor Incursions more if there weren't as many invuln stages and if people actually went to kill the side bosses instead of waiting in the middle. Maybe just adding incentives to go after the side bosses would help. I like the dragons, too, but they're held back in my ranking since they're probably the hardest world event to solo, or at least the most time consuming.

Dark anchors, though, are the best for many reasons, chief among them being Tanlorin's line:
"I just love the sound they make. Bwah!"

    Harrowstorms
Harrowstorms are the only ones I still do on a regular basis. Because of the different enemies that might appear (I mean the generals that spawn during the takedown process), I find them somewhat less repetitive that other incursions.

I have not yet experienced Bastion Nymic or Mirrormoor.

Don't bastion nymics also have DPS checks? I remember I went to try it solo with a companion, and a boss kept duplicating and healing afterwards or something like that.

I am not a fan of the atmosphere of Harrowstorms: I am very much the type of person that prefers Geysers, Mirrormoor or Vents visually, and Dragons are the most cool for sure... BUT Harrowstorms are the event with the best design and feel.

When you are able to solo an Harrowstorm and you come and save the day to someone struggling there's no better way to feel cool yourself, it's so satisfying and fun to take down one XD
    No other event is comparable.

The fact the spawn of bosses "is on a timer" gives adrenaline in a way no other event can.
I love having a huge mess on the screen with multiple bosses. They also feel menacing, and they are - I remember dying so many times back then.
AND they last more than 5 seconds during events, unlike dragons which are a slog outside of events but die super fast during events.

my favourite is Dark Anchors, because it still is the only World Event/incursion that i can enjoy doing solo.
Also Molag Bal's dialogue is fun.
a lot of the bosses being named is nice too.

i can solo Geysers, but it is too long till the boss fight.
i could solo Volcanic Vents, Bastion Nymic, and Oblivion Portals maybe, but they too take a really long time and are kinda too challenging to solo.

    Harrowstorms
Harrowstorms have the best combo, visually super cool, lots of different enemies which makes it not as repetitive like the others, and probably the toughest World Event in the game.

Dragons are the second best for me, I'd maybe consider them even in difficulty with Harrowstorms, but it's hard to compare since Harrowstorms function differently and vary in difficulty depending on what bosses you get.

Overall, I've been disappointed with the latest World Events we got, they all felt much easier than Harrowstorms/Dragons, not mechanically innovative, and I hate how Mirrormoor Incursions and the last boss in Oblivion Portals have tons of immunity phases.

The WORST of them are definitely the Summert Geysers though, 99% of it is just fighting countless waves of super weak ads that pose no threat building up for an average boss fight, I don't mind it being easy since it's just an early chapter, but they could definitely cut by half the amount of times we need to fight those ads.

Dolmens are proof that scaleable difficulty exists and works; the amount of enemies throttles up as more folks arrive, and stays reasonable if someone is soloing. I happily seek out the ones in less visited areas to test a new character, or a new build.

I wish all of these incursion events were similar; the visual themes and mechanics are interesting and varied, but without top tier skills and gear they are overtuned and a slog whether in small groups or solo. Only the Dragons have decent rewards beyond achievements for the extra trouble as well.
