Champion perky

I was trying to read through how to use the champion perks, didn't get too far in understanding, so I will try here. The 3 constellations system is sweet, I need some help in understanding how to add the perks to something in one of the constellations because my character is fairly weak in combat. I do not know where the perks are to add into one of the constellations, like a blank screen

there are two kinds of champion perks:

passive, which is always active as long as you meet the minimum required points.
as long as you have put enough points into at least one segment of any given passive perk, the perk's effect automatically takes place.
you can choose to put more points into a passive perk to further boost the effect, but only after each incremented segment.

and slottable, which must be slotted into one the four available slots in the champion bar for it to take effect. they have a tooltip under them "Add to champion bar to activate."
when you have at least one segment in a slottable, you can drag and drop it to it's corresponding champion bar.
there are also slottable perks found separate from the constellations which have no segments but instead increase in effectiveness the more points you put into them, up to a max of 50.

the champion perk system is treated like a skill tree (ex.: you need at least one segment of Breakfall, Wanderer, and Steadfast Enchantment before you can begin putting points into Rationer.)

get all your gold stars first then fill in the ones for your build. The champion points do go over cap of what can be put in there so don't stress too hard focused on it.

top bar is the slottables those will be the really glowing ones throw those up in the coordinating colored sections.
