Today after playing for 3 years I received a nasty msg on my xbox saying people like me ruin the game nothing else was stated what I did i don't chat on zone and was doing battlegrounds coming mid to top end scores and just trying to have fun and bumed out at getting such mail

LootAllTheStuff✭✭✭If it was an XBox message (not an in-game mail) you can report it and block the user: those options should be on the popup menu when you have the message selected in your chat history. It's been a while since I poked around in the privacy and security settings, and MS have changed a lot of stuff there (especially around how friends work), but that's the place I'd look for the options on who can message you via XBox chat.
