All content and systems should be rewarding and fun.

That's not possible because rewarding and fun are both entirely subjective.

It's not possible to please everyone and it's a mistake to even try.

It's best if they design housing content for the housing core audience.
It's best if they design trial content for the trial core audience.
It's best if they design pvp content for the pvp core audience.

I don't PvP and avoid IC/Cyrodil as if the plague was rampant. Sure, I'd like the end reward, but not enough to do activities which I do not find enjoyable or rewarding.

So, I'm ignoring this round of Pursuits. It's a choice, and I do not expect the devs to cater to me personally.

also also, never understood why bg's don't count for event tickets

They do. It's just that the BG and Cyro dailies share a source, so if you get your tickets from Cyrodiil you can't get them from BGs. But you can just do the BG daily and not have to enter Cyrodiil.

They do keep the 1 from IC separate to drive people into that mode specifically. I suppose they could split the 2 from Cyro/BG into one from each, but that might be excessive if people had to visit each of the different PvP modes each day.

Fun is the entire job of a video game. They understand what people will enjoy as a general rule. I never stated that they could make everyone like every system, so I'm really not sure why you're taking the statement "PvP should be fun" as "PvP should cater to PvE players."

They should make PvP as fun as possible and attach nice rewards to it. The same is true of every system. And then players will obviously pick and choose what they want to play

I think he was just saying fun is objective. In a game this big with as many activities as ESO has, you really can't please everyone.

That's not possible because, whatever ZOS do, PvP WILL NEVER BE FUN for a huge range of players.

Whatever ZOS do, some people like black, some like white, some like gray.

Some will say: "Well done ZOS! I love it!"

Others will say: "OMG! I hate is so much!!!"

But they DO count for 2 tickets, you even don't have to win. Most easy quest to take from the battlemaster is the 1000 medals one.

It is absolutely possible to design PvP to be a fun game experience, regardless if an individual does not like it. There are video games that I do not enjoy that are best sellers. They are fun games just not for me.

Nobody said everyone will like every game mode. PvP should be fun should not be a controversial opinion. But, it seems to me like this thread is about it not being "fair" that PvP players get rewards too, so I guess it shouldn't surprise me.

    Edit

I stand by what I said. All game systems, including PvP, should be fun and rewarding. If someone wants a reward meant for PvP, they can enter a PvP zone and get it. There's already several options for this pursuit that are low risk.

I had thought that just running a battleground would give tickets, but soon realized we need to complete the battleground quest to get them.
