Poisoned status effect and Sheer Venom

Since poisoned is now considered execute damage, shouldn't it be able to proc Sheer Venom?

The thing i'm not sure is if status effect damage is considered an "ability".0 -

✭✭✭✭✭status effects have never been considered "an ability", they can be part of abilities, but are themselves not an ability so it wont be able to proc sheer venom
you can guarantee sheer venom anyway using like poison injection, which itself can also proc poison status effect (triple execute dots lol)plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

bloodthirsty doesnt deal dmg, it only increases your effective weapon/spell dmg against low hp targetsplays PC/NA
