Underwater/Sea Content

Would ocean content (ships and diving underwater) be possible in the future? Or would the engine not allow it? Was just thinking how cool it would be to explore underwater on my Argonians. The water just looks SO PRETTY and inviting in this game (especially in Summerset and High Isle). If underwater content could be implemented, I'd never leave it. I love water content in games.

Underwater swimming, combat, zones, exploration, gathering, spear fishing, treasure chests, troves, ect would be so cool! Argonians would be not only useful again, but vital. For non-Argonians there's water breathing spells/enchantments. So, there could be jewelry sets or something just for that.

i imagine we could have more content similar to the Graven Deep dungeon and the Seaveil Spire house, but not underwater swimming

Ah, okay. Thought that'd probably be the case...

I've been dreaming about floating ships since I started playing this game.

Right? I'd love having our own ships and crew (npcs or guildies). ESO has the BEST looking water (in my opinion). BDO water has always looked...bad. There would be a lot of risks of course (which would honestly make it even more fun) in the form of Maomer, Sload, Dreugh, Nereids, Sea Serpents, Pirates, (maybe even enemy players in an Alliance area), ect.

Plus, obviously fishing off of your own boat/ship. It'd be really cool to be able to customize or decorate it too (within reason). But I'd be happy just being able to have my own ship I could actually sail...

After Graven Deep I have been slightly disappointed the bubble mechanic has not been utilised more. I mean, it's right there. It is already in the game. Use it.

Showing my age...Everquest had Kedge Keep an underwater dungeon. You swam all the time, and if your underwater breathing buff dropped, drowned in about 15 seconds.....leading to nightmarish corpse recoveries to get your gear back.

Thank goodness you don't lose your gear in this game when you die. That would totally suck, lol. I hated that in Enshrouded (before they changed it). Elder Scrolls also has water breathing (with no time limit) spells and enchantments (Argonians obviously wouldn't need them, I would think Vampires should be able to forgo those as well, seeing as how they don't breathe).

I keep thinking of the undersea walking in Graven Deep. Don't know why…
