Did this Golden Pursuit inspire you to try Vampire for the first time?

They need to add more incentive to be a Vampire, give both them and transformed Werewolves additional buffs that are non-combat related including fall damage resistance and Increased sprinting speed.

I created a Vampire character or Armory build just for this Golden Pursuit task
Disclaimer: I did not start a new life as a vampire for this task: "Feed 50 times as a Vampire" nor did I complete this task even after setting up a den for Vampires in one of my houses. It was just too tedious.

I have never played a vampire and have in fact avoided the concept like the plague. However as part of self-improvement I decided to leave my comfort zone and widen my vision as there were two vampiric entries in this Golden Pursuit. The key to my discovery and delve into vampirism was incidental. On the vety 1st day of last event I completed a Harrowstorm and got this Lead: Vampiric Stained Glass. That started a chain reaction.

I really adore the design of this window. (One needs all 3 codex entries to be able to purchase the windows from vendor). So the chase was on on! I now had two antiquity codex entries on my EU main and none on NA. So off to Harrowstorms it was for all my characters. The evil djinn AKA the demonic torturer called RNG gave my EU side the third lead early to complete the codex and left my NA peeps hanging in oblivion. Got all 3 codex entries eventually (the last lead on the next to last day!) on NA by sheer determination... Hurrah!!!

Now to the practicalities, (from a window to a house) building a den for vampires. So spending Crowns that I never spend anyway got me Fennmorian, Soul-Sworn Thrall & Basin of Loss. The Soul-Sworn Thrall is also very useful for those occasional Blade of Woe endeavours (kill x people).

Despite my misgivings, but after all it was "Snow Lily" Lyris who guided me through the vampire quest and I therefore eventually built this potentially divisive structure in the Haven of The Five Companions, right at the entrance.

Options A and B for me. I have a Vampire on my main account and created one on my 2nd account. Was going to skip it but anther player was offering a bite in zone chat so I figured what the hey, might as well.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

Kind of both #1 and #2. I got vamped in Zone Five on an alt account some time back and just rolled with it since I'd always cured it whenever it cropped up on my main account. I've been able to hand out a couple of bites to guildies so they could do the pursuit, but that character is mostly a Templar who just happens to be a vampire and has never used anything in the skill line other than feeding (for endeavors or the pursuit) and doing bites here and there. I see no reason not to continue with that approach going forward.

For my main account, I asked for a bite so I could do the pursuit and now have a Sorc who also happens to be a vampire. I'll probably do the same, but need to grind some XP so that toon can give bites. I'll probably use that toon to get the "of House Ravenwatch" title, though.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.
