Old wings was a lot of fun. I loved if someone opened a bow ult on my DK or reflecting glass cannon snipers.

However, it did completely negate some classes. I was playing range MagNB a lot at the time and simply couldn't fight a competent DK who had wings slotted. They negated every attack that I had, fire staff attacks, swallow soul, grim focus, all my attacks were projectiles. Sorcs had similar issues. I would just leave a fight with a DK if they flapped their wings.

So while I was a bit sad to see it go as it was a unique aspect of the class, it was ultimately for the best I think.
