What are your thoughts on our potential 3rd Class Set from the Infinite Archive?

class sets are at an impasse on viability because they can't be too strong otherwise it weighs favor towards a specific class which is something they obviously do not want (my condolences dragonknights) but also you're toiling away at RNG in an RNG-based arena for something like friggin' Wrathsun. no thanks. i'll take my Soulcleaver Helmet style page and be on my way.

it would be nice if the Winter's Embrace set becomes the new best Frost set.

i don't really know what could make it better than sets like Frostbite or Ysgramor's Birthright, but we need something that makes more enticing to play as a Frost Warden.

I'm eagerly waiting for Winter's Embrace buffing set for Wardens, and Dark Magic buffing set for Sorcs.
I'm curious to see what Healing Light set for Templars would bring.

As for what we have currently, I ran Wrathsun and got dissappointed. Loved the glow tho.
Gardener of Seasons is nice, but the sound que for Minor Heroism on overheals drove me crazy, so I dropped it.
Aetheric Lancer became a nuisance so I stopped using it as well.
I really liked Monolith of Storms on my Shock Sorc, but I deleted that character cause I had new vision for it; I recreated him as a DK pyromancer, so I will farm Pyrobrand sooner or later.

I really REALLY want 8th class. New classes get me the most excited.

The only thing I want from the IA is a save function. Anything else they might add is a secondary consideration.

After that, revamp the rewards. The IA rewards do not match the time spent, even in Arc 1. That could include new sets, but I'd prefer they up the lead drops, the number of fortunes, etc. Give us goodies. If you want us to spend time in there, reward us and for heaven's sake, let us save.

After the Daedric summoning set worked better when you weren't using summons, I stopped caring about it.

We really don't need anymore class specific sets. We don't need anymore sets out of IA.
In reality having every weight of a set that's designed for dps, heals, or tanking is just a ton of pieces to collect based of rng.

Restoring Light should actually build a house providing a 8m shield for 12 seconds. If you leave the house the door is locked and you can't return.

I've been farming IA a decent amount lately because I enjoy the themes of some sets - I use aetheric lancer a lot on my templar in pvp and I'm currently fiddling with building a DK that uses both pyrebrand and basalt blooded. A lot of my 'meh' feels towards IA could be fixed with a save button and a 'hard mode' that that yeets arcs worth of mobs at you faster. It's a huge pain having to slog through, what, 3 mobs at a time? Even badly played DPS builds these days can probably burn through 5-10x that easily. I don't really feel all that engaged with it until the second library daedra boss fight.

Making it so that scripts can't be totally useless would also go a long way. The amount of times I've been given equally worthless vision choices is...astounding.

I'd really like to see the third Infinite Archive class set to be a 2 piece Monster Helm. So, instead of farming 5 pieces of each- you could just farm 2 pieces and it would drop in light/medium/heavy. I think it would "wrap up" the Infinite Archive arch nicely (because you don't have to farm as much) and I'm sure people would be a bit tired of running that dungeon over and over and over for it's third set now.

If/when ZOS introduces the third set- they could reevaluate the previous two sets and tailor them a bit.

But I would really appreciate being able to use all three of my IA sets at once. Just for thematic sake.

So, it would look something like:

5 piece Bassalt Bloodied Warrior
5 piece Pyrebrand
2 piece -New DK tailored monster helm/shoulder-
