I spent one plus hours in Q today. No BG still

This morning I had a little bit of time so I wanted to get battlegrounds and spent 28 minutes in queue to join a match that was over. Now I’m on a 40 minute queue for a BG and now I have things to do. This is kind of crazy.

And that right there is why the queue times are so long I suspect many have stopped playing BG's due to get obliterated over and over with little reward for the players time. that's why I stopped playing them.4 -

I wouldn’t be surprised if this were the case.
When my partner and I have queued for an 8v8 group as a group of 2, we have had to wait 45 minutes+ for our first BG. One night, after finishing that first one after a 45-minute queue, we immediately requeued and completed three more BGs, still in the same group of 2. We had to queue one additional time because one BG in there was one player short and the game disbanded it after the timer ran out. Each of those four queues after the first took less than 5 minutes.
It isn’t the first time we’ve experienced a very length queue only for the first BG and waited substantially less time for subsequent ones immediately afterwards. That’s actually been my experience on every one of the handful of nights we’ve done these new BGs.1
