In dual wielding there is a difference between tipe of weapon, does thid difference is also valid with a shield?

Demalb16_ESO✭✭✭so it is only aesthetic. no need to farm all sword, mace, dagger and axe in dragon star arena for puncturing remedy if they are all the same. am I right ?0

With S&B, the weapon choice is purely aesthetic.
