Transmutes Items Being Bound: Please Change

Can we please make it so transmuted items are not bound until/unless we equip them... unless, of course they're already bound.

I counted my transmutes across my toons and it's upwards of 10k. I am actively destroying them now.
If I could transmute my rewards of the worthy items and then sell them, this wouldn't be a problem.

I posted this in pvp because that's where most of my transmutes come from.

Edit: I do not mean reconstructed items. This would be specific to items received say, as rewards of the worthy... that one item, you could transmute to say defending or sharpened and then sell.

I read from some guide that trait materials could be extracted from reconstructed items. doesn't seem to work anymore.

Trait items can be extracted from TRANSMUTED items. Reconstructed items only give you 25 transmute.

Yeah I can't see this happeneing ever. It would literally take the gear farm/grind out of the game.

The best use of excess crystals is to transmute a heap of level 1 daggers in nirnhoned and decon them. You'll be drowning in Potent Nirncrux you can either sell or use.

All you need is one person to fill sticker book for a new dungeon/trial/arena/whatever. That one person can then just sell the gear to every other player and no one ever has to run that content again. Running content to add to your sticker book is a huge part of why people use dungeon finder and group finder. But now no one needs to fill their sticker book. Instead of running content, just find a friend or guildie or rando in zone chat who has the item you want in their sticker book.

Oh, no. Not like that. I dont mean you should be able to reconstruct stuff and sell it, only transmute stuff you get that isn't bound, like from rewards of the worthy. Let me clarify in my post.

This didn't work for me. I crafted a nirn sword then deconstructed it. Just got back my transmutes.

    Same thing on a stave.

ZOS should make it so that transmute stone containers are not bound, but transmuted items must be bound for the system to work as designed.

ZOS absolutely should unbind transmute stones though. That would help those of us with so many we have to destroy them and help those newer players who haven't earned enough of them yet. Either unbind the transmute stone containers or give us unlimited storage for them.

It helps to have the crafting passive that allows for more items to be recovered during deconning. And, if you don't transmute the item to nirn, you won't get any nirn when deconning. Then there is rng even if you do it right, you still might not get any nirn during deconning. My experience is about 75% of the time I get nirnstone from deconning item transmuted to nirn. So if you're getting a rate of return less than about 50% you must not have the skill points in the crafting passives that allow for greater recovery of items during deconning.
