Is the point of vengeance to kill PvP and cease to bother with PvP?

Like if any of it makes it to live it will be obviously awful and is it the point to just get rid of pvp slowly?

As the devs have reiterated several times, this is only a bare-bones test so they can get baseline data.
I suggest looking at the thread stickied on top of this forum: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/672417/cyrodiil-champions-test-q-a-livestream-jan-24-1pm-est#latest That quick Q&A did help to make several PvPers feel much more positive about the tests, and the VOD is linked in the thread. Furthermore, we will also be getting a written Q&A about the upcoming tests, and even another on PvP in general.
While I understand that the PvP experience is frustrating, it is also not helpful for people to catastrophize and try to push others away by misrepresenting the plans and blatantly ignoring the information that has been given.7 -

✭✭✭✭I'd probably suggest watching the stream from the other day that tried to speak to this concern. If one doesn't want to take them at their word, ok. But I don't think the forums are going to provide some sort of insight that the game director didn't already attempt to provide.2
