I made the mistake of opening a gold box yesterday with 12/12 tickets and lost my three tickets to the abyss. I thought ZOS made protections in the past to prevent this from happening, but nope

✭✭✭✭✭The good news is you can get the tickets later the same day if you miss them.
I logged in, killed a dungeon boss, got the notification that I'd missed the tickets but did get the golden box, switched characters and spent tickets on something or other, switched back and killed the same boss again and this time got 3 tickets and a purple box. ✭✭✭I think they fixed this issue sometime in the last year. Like others have said, spend some tickets then go kill another boss or whatever you need to do to get tickets.2 -

It's not the case, don't worry. The Tickets don't drop from the Gold box, they're dropped by whatever boss you beat for the first time each day.Aww man. Didn't realize thisPC-NA | Been around since closed beta

✭✭If a ticket drop would take you over 12 or you're at 12, the system is supposed to suppress the drop that time but you can still get it later in the day if you spend tickets and then go fight an eligible boss. But I prefer to not rely on that safeguard and instead I spend tickets in advance.2
