Thank you for only have one event I could not do, "improve riding" and having plenty left over. to choose from. I no longer feel I am being punished for having played a lot over the decade. Thanks for listening to everyone and balancing this event out! Well-done ESO!

Thanks ZoS for more Golden Endevours! I really enjoy them. A nice range of variety of things to do.

Really wish the bosses in IA counted as trial, delve, and world bosses, so we don't have to wait for those spawns. But good rewards, and overall nice options to choose from.

Agree with OP. I don't care for Golden Pursuits, because I can see behind them the desperation of ZOS to get player engagement, which makes me sad. BUT! It was really nice to see that the list of tasks this time around feels far less punishing, and I always enjoy when you can make "combos" and work towards knocking out multiple things at once. Games are supposed to be about having fun, after all, not a second job.

Looking through the latest Pursuit, I greatly appreciate that it doesn't require you to do specific tasks to get specific rewards. Unlike the last one, where you needed a trial to get a style piece, which I immediately noped out of when I saw that requirement. I didn't really want the piece anyway, since I didn't care for that style. But I was still bothered by this because I knew there were players out there who really did want that piece and who wouldn't get to take part in a trial in time to claim it.

I do know players who couldn't get all the rewards from the previous Pursuit that they wanted, because those rewards were tied to content they couldn't do or didn't have time or the health for. I also know players who refused to take part in the Pursuit at all when they saw rewards attached to specific tasks.

It's been over a decade, but ZOS still keeps having to relearn over and over again that Elder Scrolls players are not the sort of people to whom you dictate how to play an Elder Scrolls title. We've been modding Elder Scrolls games to our tastes for decades. We're not the kind of people who can be easily forced onto a preset path and kept there; when game companies try this, we're the kind of people who just ditch that game and go find one that does let us have the fun and freedom to play how we choose (within reason). While you're trying to up your player engagement, ZOS, don't forget to make it fun! :D

Alliance agnostic: all factions should chill the fetch out and party together.
If you ever wonder why certain official fandom spaces are so often toxic and awful, remember: corruption starts from the top. And if you don't want me to call you out for being terrible, maybe you should consider not being terrible. ^^v

Right, as someone who didn't even bother finishing the last pursuit, this one feels all around better. Both activities and rewards.

I see it as more of “keeping up with the Jones” due to its similarities with systems in other games, with one of the goals being player engagement, of course, and another goal just giving the players something modern and trendy. And I agree with the OP, thank you ZOS for GP! 🙂

Golden Pursuit was the final straw that broke the game for me, realizing I was doing more FOMO and chiors than actually enjoying the game...

There's a Delve in Alik'r iirc, idr the name if it, where you spawn bosses by pushing a series of plates. The plates reset after like a minute. If someone else doesn't get to naming the place first, I'll look it up later today and edit with the name.

Golden Pursuit was the final straw that broke the game for me, realizing I was doing more FOMO and chiors than actually enjoying the game...

This Golden Pursuit is quite literally nothing but normal game activities. I earned all the rewards by simply just "actually enjoying the game". Heck, I earned the first reward quite by accident about 5 minutes after the Pursuit started and I didn't even know a Pursuit was coming.

Got the final reward yesterday then today discovered something I like: Unlike endeavors, this golden pursuits activities tracker still tracks activities after you get 12 completed. Even though there's no further benefits/rewards I find it fun to see the extra ones filling up as I go about normal business. There's 18 activities and I expect I'll probably complete 17 of them. (I don't herd cats. . . err, I mean I don't do trials.)

I know what you mean. Only Thoa’at gives a box. I can kinda see it in Arc 1/2, but after that should be every boss.

This is it, thanks :D. Best place to go for anything that calls for "kill X bosses" as long as Dungeon bosses will count for it.
