Very good, note that its an second ocean fishing location in Cyrodil on the EP side who also has a couple of nodes.
Go south from Cropford to the border river dividing up the map. Then follow the coast to the west and you find couple of nodes.
    ca
This location is also more out of the way than the AD ocean location but as long as AD holds castle Blodmane and the scroll of Mnem its very few reasons to go here outside of fishing.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I personally use this page dedicated to fishing maps. Interactive map with all fishing nodes for every zone.

I'd also add there's an app called ESO Helper that also reveals all fishing locations of every zone (along with other points of interest).

I only started fishing a few months ago, and I just completed my last angler achievement (Imperial City) tonight!

I used the information from the UESP fishing page along with maps from fishingintamriel.com and housetertia.com for guidance.

I know it's coming, but I don't care. I've been grinding them for months. I find it kind of relaxing.

I've still got two accounts that need it - but I don't care about the curation thing, I just like getting it done "the old way". It's something I do in between the plethora of events.... (many of which I do not do any more at all, though I do need 20 tickets on 4 accounts to finish the Dawnwood Indrik).

Good luck getting anywhere near a fishing hole during the event! :p Although I'm still holding out a bit of hope I can get the 12 fish I need (one from each zone) to get the achievement.
It's a tradition, or an old charter, or something...

I don't need it as I've already got the achievement. But for those that do need it, I'd recommend that if nothing else, make it a point to use the opportunity to get Coldharbour done since that one is the most difficult. Because it's 12 fish all with the same type of fishing hole, and without curated drops the chances of getting the fish you need really drops when you're down to the last 3. And really really bad when you're down to the last 1 of 12.

Clockwork is all foul so it’s the same deal. That one took me longer than any other zone.

I hate running around that zone.

Just like so many other things, it's all down to RNG. It's going to vary for everyone.

Coldharbour was not that bad for me.
Shadowfen was my worst zone; all that water and very few nodes, comparatively, and the last of the 12 fish (one of the Foul node fish) took the longest out of any other fish in any of the other zones.

Y'know, that Toxic Xoach blue fish in Shadowfen has been my bête noire for 6 out of 8 accounts. The other two are coming up; I'm betting it will be the same on them....

I’d took me only 30 minutes or so, I think. It would have been less if I hadn’t gotten killed a time or two. I was on my AD nb main and an EP guy came up and fished with me for a while, then just turned and attacked me. I had the last laugh though, I was on my sneak build and had exactly 0 tel var, lol.

Oh yes, RNG is a fickle beast.

But Coldharbour is statistically harder than the other zones. In all the other zones the trophy fish pool is less because you only have to collect 3 or 4 fish per type of hole. So the worst the odds ever get is 1-in-3 or 1-in-4 when you're on the last fish per type of hole (RNG not withstanding). But in Coldharbor all holes are of the same type, so that last trophy fish is 1-in-12, and bad RNG can be brutal.

No. Nor is Craglorn any more (I swear it was 4-5 years back when I did the first two accounts, and it's still under Master Fisher in the dropdown, but I got the 3rd account Master Fisher just a couple of weeks back without touching Crag at all).

I didnt have tel var while fishing there, some of the time I got killed a lot, others I got left alone but it still took a while just from fishing rng. I did wear one of the xivkyn polymorphs since theres a few of the xivkyn npcs who also fish xD

A good trick for fishing in IC is to wear one of the Xivkyn polymorphs. They can be purchased with tel var from the general merchant in the sewers. I managed to get all the IC fish this way without having to get killed or even fight. I did have several people come up to me and take a closer look and one guy even laughed and clapped. You'll still have your character name and health bar above your head, but other than that you'll look exactly like the other Xivkyn in the zone.
