3 TDM games today ... 1 kill in all games.

Domination ... 1 team sitting on one flag, another sitting on the other ... timer ran out ... draw.

The excitement in these games is killing me!

Haven't done group queue yet, but I'm back into daily solo queue.

4v4 gets a bit better when you get out of the bottom MMR rankings, which can take a lot of matches depending on your luck. Not much better, but a bit.

8v8 I've straight up given up on, and I'm sorry to say I just pee about in them now. If I get werewolfed or vamped up in chaos ball, I'm going full stomp. I ain't sitting at the base waiting to die so someone else can get the ball. I still play objectives, but I'm gonna mess about and have fun along the way.

I think Bg's are fine and fun.
Most of the time I have fun battles that are not lop sided and a challenge.
Sometime I go against knowledgeable players with strong builds and get my ass handed to me.
Other time I get thrown in from time to time with players and builds that don't stack up to mine And I dominate greatly.

I feel when it comes to BG's its more about builds and player skill than anything.

But I don't like waiting almost 5 minutes just to be kicked out because teams did not form up! That part sucks!

Other than that I think they are great fun for all types of players.

I actually really rate the 8v8 objective modes. Seems to split up the players in 90% of games and prevents the spawn curb stomping for the most part.
Unfortunately though you do see how a lot of players just don't know the first thing about PvP, primarily in their builds. So many <22k health players which are just going to get wiped most of the time with any simple combo or pressure and will not really be able to engage fully. Sets like RoA and Vicious Death also make them want to be avoided by the more experienced members so I can see why new players just struggle to get into PvP. Basically a game mode to them which they get minimal engagement before death and often left to the side.
All my 4v4's have been essentially curb stompings of some variation or another and objective modes in 4v4 just drag it out. I am yet to lose a 4v4 but don't seem to go up in MMR? Just perpetually seal clubbing. Partly wonder if it's because BB (a pet) is responsible for most of my kills.

For 4v4, I think that mmr is being reset too often. I don't get it. Talk about making a bad situation worse. Totally agree with your comment. They get a bit better.

I don't suppose you know how the MMR resets nowadays? Stupid question when I'm saying I'm PvPing daily, I know. But haven't seen any info on when or how often the MMR resets. I'm just vaguely aware that I stop fighting sub-22k health players when I'm playing a lot.

build a healing bot with 40K+ HP.

I don't know the details but someone I knew went from bottom to top of every game I played with after adopting the build plus block weaving. It was a templar, nearly unkillable and probably waiting a lot for the chances to do jesus beam.

I say I think because I do not know for sure. I think this because it seems every time the bg campaign, so to speak. Is over I get queued up with new players for about a day or two on my sweatiest characters who are high mmr. Or should be.

I just leave now. 15 mins of spamming skills and getting nowhere or 15 min BG penalty and going to do something productive .... easy choice.

Player skill means heehaw when you're up against teams who ball up and only heal and tank. I've got major and minor defile on my build .... trust me, does nothing against them.

8v8 should be the default BGs mode. Teams are large enough to carry a couple weak beginner players, and to zerg down healbots. There's still a lot of room for skilled play in solo 8v8s so all levels can enjoy it. Meanwhile in 4v4 a single weak player makes the entire match a lopsided garbage fire, or two healbots on the same team grind it to a halt.

Put 8v8 solo casual at the top of the list. Put 4v4 comp at the bottom where only tryhards will bother looking.

    @xylena_lazarow agreed mate.

I'm gonna stop playing 4x4. Waste of time.

Even in the TDM games were you get totally annihilated in the first round, they expect a pug team to turn it around in the second and third round LOL.
