Hi, I recently started having awful controller issues which made the game unplayable, which I partially resolved by using the standalone ESO version instead of Steam client.

The problem this doesn't fix is the wear and tear on controller ports, caused by having to use a wired connection. I have a ~6 month old DS4 controller bought new, otherwise in perfect condition. To my dismay, apparently 3 months of playing ESO has worn out the port on it enough that the connection is now super unreliable and seriously affects gameplay.

As y'all probably know, sometimes it's more plug-and-unplug-and-plug-and-play-and-unplug-and-plug-and-play than plug-and-play when it comes to ESO+controller (I was surprised to see some PC users have to rely on a wired connection as well).

So a few questions:
  1. Does anyone here use a controller that works with ESO on a Mac wirelessly? Either via dongle or bluetooth?
  2. Is there a list somewhere of controllers with full/limited compatibility with ESO, ESO via Steam, ESO on a Mac?
  3. What is ZOS's stance or implementing wireless controller support for the Mac clients? Apple keeps extending support in this area, so I'm hoping ZOS plans to make use of this.

Thanks!

I tried to get our steel series controller to work, but the game doesn’t seem to recognise it. The controller is supposed to be compatible with the x ox or whatever type that the game calls for, but still doesn’t work.
I’d love to know how to make it work, though.
