Does Ballista worth use in bow builds? Or it's better to use Ice Comet?

For what? I've seen it used in PvP a bit, but it also locks you into a channel.

No. Rapid Fire and the Toxic Barrage morph are channels. But Ballista isn't.

In my opinion Ballista is a good alternative for a backbar Ult on Bow/Bow setups. I am pretty sure that it scales with Hawk Eye, increasing its damage up to 25%. It is single target, which isn't so great, but the damage is really good. My StamSorc Woodelf gets 106k for 147 Ult, without crits.

Outside of BowBow builds, the usefulness is low.

I don't know about PvP, but it stands to reason, that the damage will be lower and random, since the ballsita decides who it hits.
If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

    Ballista.

ONLY if it scales with Hawk eye, though (and you keep that max stacked), and you're fighting single-target.

Less ult cost, up to 25% increased damage with Hawk Eye, either more likely to crit, or 5% more damage with the bow passive.

Honestly, don't sleep on the ballista ult in PVP. In certain situations with certain builds, it can wreck. Its situational and very niche, but my guild has played around with it just for s/g's - and OMG we destroyed people with it. It was definitely not something they expected.

Granted, I think we did well because of a combo of gear, build, and tactics, all of which were theorycrafted to the max, but we still pull it out now and again when we want to throw something out there that will keep our opponents off-balance.

In PVE, it is only okay, but there are definitely many better ults that you can use in PVE other than Ballista.
